It's all the SAME [sadly] nobody _works_ for f.r.e.e Group: Admin Posts: 17 Member No.: 1 Joined: 6-June 07	&&__Rules [1] &&__Short Info;Warning Pull the Plug is a R rated board so the sexual and mature stuff shouldn't be bothering you, otherwise leaving would be the best for you. In any case, do not forget to warn the members when you are rping in a mature way. Gay, lesbian ships, violence.. etc. are all allowed. [2] &&__Pregnancies;Marriages Here's the deal, we allow teen-pregnancies and marriages but, there's a few things that both parts involved (the two characters in question) or else there will be no wedding or baby; - Both characters must be at least 16 and have posted more than 100 posts each to get pregnant. - Both characters must be at least 17 and have posted 150 posts to get engaged - Both characters must be at least 17 and have posted more than 200 posts to get married - If both characters is over 18 all above will be allowed as soon as their app is accepted. That's because we can't have everbody popping out babies and getting married. There might be pregnancies and engagements in the sub-plots, but that's becuase itäs supposed to be so. And when you're 18 you get to do whatever you want. Please do not abuse this rule or I'll only allow adults to get prgnant - everyone that's older than 18 and not in high school. [3] &&__Godmoding Godmoding is not accepted! If you want a fight or something and when you hit the other character, he/she has the right to decide if you missed or not. You can play another character when you are rping like waiters, staff.. another student..etc. I'll allow those actions if you are experienced,after 100 posts. [4] &&__RPG System I feel like uber stupid of writing this but I see there are still some people who don't have any idea about roleplaying. It is not something bad or disgraceful. They just have to learn to do it, and here are some tips. I can't help them more than that. Practise, my dear. [x] Write from 3rd person point of view, not from 1st. Ex: "Holly opened the door and walked inside slowly." [Correct] Ex: "I opened the door and walked inside slowly." [Wrong] [x] Use commas, but be careful. We don't want to see a long paragraph that is just about one sentence. Ex: "Holly is a smart girl. She loves to read and study in her spare time." [Wrong] Ex: "Holly is a smart girl, and loves to read and study in her spare time." [Correct] [x] Give Detail and Description. Ex: "Holly found herself in a dark room."[Wrong] Ex: "Holly found herself in a depressingly dark room which had rusted brick-made walls around and a dusty, old, dark red carpet in the middle of it." [Correct] [5] &&__One Liners That's probably really annoying for the admins and the experienced members' point of view, but we are not allowed to insult those people who write only 1 sentence. I still remember the days I wrote '"Yes?" she said.' So.. the thing I want from the beginners is effort. Please, try to write as much as you can. I know everyone can have a writers block, but I don't want to see one word in a post. I want effort, again. I will check the threads sometimes and I will have to warn the people who have less than 60 words. [6] &&__OOC Boards OOC boards are to have fun, not to discriminate against, or insult anyone. Please do not make any negative comments about race, religion, gender, etc. I don't want to see fellow members fighting and cursing at each other. Those kind of things will be checked and those members will be deleted without warning. If someone bothers you, pm to an admin. Or take it somewhere besides this board. [7] &&__Vacation;Leaving If you will be leaving the site for any reason what so ever, please contact me so that I will have your character deleted. This does not include those going on vacation (etc.) and coming back soon. Write shibby in the last part of your application. If you are going to a vacation or need a break, post it in an ooc board and let all of us know about it. Admins would love to keep your characters untill your return. Note! Do not post those in the &&__News;Update board! It will be deleted! [8] &&__Avatars;Signatures For avatars and signatures please use celebrites and/or other typs of models (i.e MySpace and Vampirefreaks people); cartoons and drawings are not allowed. It is not so difficult but I put this as a rule so you have to use a celebrity. LJ Icons and Sets are allowed and apporved, mostly suggested. You can request one from the av&sig shops in the site, or order from PandorasCloset and such graphics sites. Avatars must be icon sized, 100x100 and please only 1 signature and maximum 6 LJ icons. [9] &&__Characters The Maximum number of characters you can have is 4. If you want more and can persuade me that you can handle them all, pm me. We can discuss about it. I don't want to see seniors and juniors wandering around all the time. Younglings are needed and will be needed, so at least 1 freshman if you are willing to make 4 characters. Professors and adults won't affect your character count. [10] &&__Advertising You can promote your site if you promote ours too in yours. I am bringing up this rule because i don't want people to register only to advertise their sites.If you want such thing,pm or e-mail to an admin for affaliting. You'll be added to affalites list if you are chosen. [11] &&__Regards So those are all and done. It didn't take more than 5 minutes, did it? I hope you learned something from those above or at least remembered. Please, follow them and most important..
