 Good and bad CD units in 6th ed., Whats hot and whats not?

What is better and what is nerfed in CD with the new rules? Not having the new rulebook untill just resently I havenīt read up on all yet but from what Iīve read here and else were this is what I make of the new rules.

Khorne is a "canīt be used god" from what I can see with Hellblades beeing nerfed to AP3.

Nurgle are better with new posion rules even thou they lost a lot with FnP beeing 5+ even thou it is 5+ on all. Epi lists will be more played but Nurgle will see less playtime in most list exept for DPs of nurgle.

Slaanesh are the winners with hit n run, fleet, 3+ vs AV, shooting casualties beeing from the first rank and pile on results vs AV. On the negative side we have overwatch but that should only get 1-3 kills/ charge and shouldnīt be a big problem.

Tzeentch are better with BoC beeing AP 1, Screamers hitting on 3+ and overwatch helping Horrors a little.

Biggest positive are The Keeper of Secrets, Fiends, Dnettes, Flamers, screamers and DPs w. wings.

Biggest negativs no more Bletters, why would you when Dnettes are cheaper?! Crushers without 5th ed powerweapons are just plain expencive and useless exept as tarpitts.

Am I missing something? =)

You got a good idea. nothing is nailed down yet. At some point it will be worth writing up a new tatica , id say give it a bit and you and everyone else will know a lot better.

From what I understand though of the new rules is that you're being a bit melodramatic with dismissing Khorne and his bloodletters in particular. Yes, they are AP3 now, but they are always AP3, whereas Daemonette's are only AP2 on 6's.

Yeah, Khorne stuff took a hit but it is far from useless. You'll just have to include some Daemonettes, Fiends or Flamers in case you do come up against a Terminator squad. Or a monster of some kind of course. Makes the Fury of Khorne upgrade for Bloodletters and Crushers more useful too.

For crushers try this:

8 crushers(maybe Icon) + herald of Khorne on crusher.
Hope for FNP on warlord traits. Run herald up front and keep every thing else with in 6". Now you have a 2+ LOS roll that you can distribute the wound to any model is 6". In theory you could have 8 crushers with one wound on each and two on the herald before you lose a model. Throw in FW and it is a hell of a death star. Id think about leaving off rending and might so you can't hurt av 12 and if you get locked in can try to run away if you want.

The other thing is everyone is assuming people are going to start running nothing but termies. Power weapons still kill MEQ well enough and I think there is still going to be a lot of that on the field.

So it went from 200 pts for the 5th wound to kill a model to 425 for the 11th wound to kill a model.

At 2k I might have to try FW, 6 heralds of Khorne and 6 units of 3-4 crushers.
