Does it affect other lores such as big waagh, little waagh, high magic etc? Or just rulebook lores? Thanks

It affects other lores, but it doesn't affect innate spells like invocation oh Nehek or the dark elves' 'generate dice' spell.

also it had been FAQed it doesnt affect gut magic, wonder why is that?

That FAQ was back when Gut Magic wasn't actually a Lore, just a collection of spells. Now there is no such thing as "Gut Magic", Ogres now use the "Lore of the Great Maw", which, coincidentally, is a Lore, so it is affected.

Also, it does affect Invocation of Nehek now as it isn't a 'free' spell anymore.

On a seperate issue, I'm getting annoyed at how long its been since they last updated the FAQ's. They have just done all the 40k ones for 6th ed but they are supposed to do them every 6 months AT LEAST, and the WFB ones are overdue now. There are plenty of issues in the VC book that need clarification, for example.
