I am having a friendly campaign game, and I need help with making a good list. I've tried and tried, but nothing I do really works.
Mind you I am fighting: Blood Angels, Tyranids, Tau, Eldar, Iron Hand, Necrons, and possibly Chaos Marines (odd right?).

I need a core army of 1250, then up to 3 sub-sections of 500 that I can use for small skirmishes in the campaign as well as add one section to the core in some battles for a total of 1750 points.

Also, I cannot use name character, but can use the model as something else. Example: I can't use Fateweaver, but I can use his model as Lord of Change.

So this is what I have, so if anyone can help me out and throw together an effective army for me, thanks.

HQ
Bloodthirster
Fateweaver (Lord of Change
Skulltaker (HoK)
The Masque (HoS)
Epidemius (HoN)

Elite
3x BloodCrusher
Fiend
Beast

Troop
10x Bloodletters
10x Daemonettes
10x Pink Horrors
6x Plaguebearers

Fast Attack
10x FleshHound
Karanak

Heavy Support
Soul Grinder (Prefer phlegm for killing marines? Y/N?)
Daemon Prince? ({[ I have a Decimator but the campaign does not allow Forge World models, so I'm using the Decimator as a daemon prince]})

Thanks for the help guys! Get back to this ASAP, first campaign fight in two days vs Tyranids!

Core - from what I can tell this has to be the mainstay of your army, what you can win games with, so you need to get pretty much all the anti-tank available in here, plus stuff that will then kill troops

Bloodthirster w blessing of the blood god (5 point upgrade you should never leave home without) - 255
Don't think you'll need Unholy Might, whatever you manage to charge will die anyway, and whatever you can't kill won't be changed due to this upgrade
3 bloodcrushers w fury of Khorne - 130
couldn't find the points for instrument on this unit, for wound allocation, so you'll have to make due
5 plaguebearers - 90
8 bloodletters - 128
2x 5 horrors w bolts - 2x 95
10 flesh hounds - 150
2x soul grinder w maw cannon - 2x 160
with BS3, I don't see the soul grinder as good anti-tank with Tongue, the S8 blast has better odds of hitting tanks and shaking them until you get close enough to break them apart; also, the lovely decimator model doesn't cut it as a T5 model to me...
TOTAL - 1248

Then you said you need to be able to add one of the sub-sections to the main army, for bigger games; I'm also assuming that both the 500 point and the 1750 armies will have to respect the Force Organisation Chart, so I left these out of the first army to go into the first expansion:
Lord of Change w master of sorcery, breath of chaos, we are legion - 330
2x 5 daemonettes - 2x 70
1 fiend - 30
This entire group relies on the Lord of Change killing everything important, the daemonettes just have to hide, while the fiend can be used to run after an annoying transport that got away or to contest an objective

The other two mini armies would be pieces of the first, with a twist:
Herald of Nurgle on palanquin w cloud of flies & breath of chaos - 100
this is a cheap HQ that can still kill stuff
6 Plaguebearers - 90
escort for the herald - drop them close to the enemy and next turn run at them so you can kill them with vomit
2x 5 horrors w bol - 2x 95
standard tank shakers
8 flesh hounds - 120
something fast is needed in the army, and with all their attacks and furious charge they should open up most enemy armour

Bloodthirster w blessing - 255
2x 5 daemonettes - 70
7 flesh hounds - 105
This is an all-fast list, where the thirster and the hounds drop first and go hunting, the daemonettes drop later and hide at first, if playing for objectives, and then come out to grab/contest/kill stragglers.

Thank you guys so much. I'm going to see what I'm up against later today and throw together the list. Zechs, you Bloodthirster, daemonette, and hound combo was genius in the last sub group.

Thank you both!

Zechs, you are a genius. I played tyranids in a planetstrike game. Destroyed them. Thank you so much. I used the 1250 and the 500 with lord of change.

Now I need some help on tactics for beating the Dark Eldar. He has those... Gunner ships that have 11 shots each or something? He has four, and also some sort of poison? Any help? I have to use the same list.

Yeah, his shooting will hurt like hell (poison means he'll always wound on 4+) and his dark lances will make your soul grinders be AV12 instead of 13. But the vehicles are paper thin, so try to catch them even in combat with anything that's S4 or more, pray you roll 6s to hit and then they fall out of the sky quite easily. Even bolts, if you hit, have a good chance of killing them as they're open topped.

The main advice is to be aggressive. Most of his troops are T3, and the best save they can hope for is the FNP they get from pain tokens. Try to use cover and pounce on him whenever you get the chance.

I'll try to keep it in mind, thanks. Any other tips?
