Hello,
here is little bit about me. My name is Neil and I have been into fantasy for a while now. I was more into painting to start with but over the last few years I have started to get into playing more and more. I have a large Vampire counts army but there isn't much more I need to add to them and since the new book came out I have become a bit disillusioned. Time for a new army!
I simply can't bring myself to play one of the "goodies" so I opted for daemons. Mainly because painting wacky colour schemes is so different to bone and they wont take three quaters of an hour to rank up. And nobody I know plays them for some reason.

I've purchased the battalion box, and a few more core units and a pair of fiends. Nearly assembled so I hope to start a plog soon to ask for your help.

Apart from that I'm into comics and art. Hope to see you guys around!

Cheers,
Neil

Welcome Neil, I have recently made the move from Night Goblins to Daemons myself, so I know the rigors of deployment with a Horde army for instance I have gone from 300 ish models (NG) to 97 DoC for a 2500 army, a great improvement. You will get into the fray much quicker with your new force.

I have also found that there are few Daemon Players around you would think that there'll be more us being so 'overpowered' and everything.

Looking forwards to your Blog, I like to see the start up forces that new players take and paint, might just convinve me to actually purchase some daemons in the near future

Welcome!

The lack of daemon players does seem odd. I put it down to one main cause. Warriors of Chaos. They have a better battalion box, a better model range and they are "more elite" so you need less models which is cheaper.
So people think I fancy chaos. Then look at the options and WoC is better in nearly every way.
Except of course that they're wrong. Daemons rock.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

It's always fun to see another daemon player around. Battalion boxes make a great start for daemon army and you could even buy a second one to get even better starting force. I really look forward on seeing your work, as painting oriented player with wacky colour themes sounds intresting =)
