Blogs are a useful way of keeping the painting motivation going.

It looks like your guys have seen some action against Bretts. Nice little touches in the pics, shields, standards etc.

The ogre skin tone looks good, what colours did you use?

The skin is a 3:1 mix of Vallejo Game Color Black Black and Game Color Cold Grey and I just add more Cold Grey to the mix until it is about 3:4 color mix for the final highlight

Dylan when I saw the user name I thought it was you.
When I saw the color scheme I was fairly sure it was you as it looks like your old ogre army

When I saw your sig promised a 'painting and cooking blog' I was SURE it was you.

Nice to see you around. Looks good.
Told you not to jump full bore into the high elves!

It's pretty hypocritical to deride GW for valuing their pocketbooks over what's good for the growth of the hobby while you are buying on ebay and playing in your friendly local gaming store.

<3 Gary and yeah the high elves just aren't fun right now atleast with there current book but I am really loving the ogres painting wise I've only gotten a few small games. Still I have been bitten by the painting bug lately and only have 5 more ogres left on my desk to build and paint happy.gif.

Anyway we might have to set up a weekend and get a game in I'd like to try out my 2500 list and maybe talk about going to crossroads again since Chris put me on the waiting list recently.
