Since I'm too lazy to re-post all the piccies, I thought I'd link the post with the basing advice request and final product to my finally-painted Kairos. http://www.warhammergenerals.co.za/forum/v....php?f=8&t=7644Now onto the hard work of designing a list to get the most out of the birth-defective chicken... -und_ed

Icicles are way beyond my level of skill.
I tried to make a rock from green stuff (shown in the later pics), came out OK, but cork woulda probably worked better.
Really liked the effect of the mutilated skink.
Interesting notion on the basing, DReign. Since my games vary on the tables they're played on, having multiple at out club (and also varies on tournament tables), I try stick with an army theme, which in the case of my daemons is a snowy theme. As I said in the WHGenerals thread, I'm trying to up my game on the basing, so anything I can try is great (there's always more models to paint, so although Kairos is done and dusted, any suggestions are still very useful)

Ah.
At the bottom of the page there's another post with pics of him based and finished.

Right. Thanks. Looks good. Like the scorched/mangled skink! Scenic basing reminds me of what it was like outside my doorstep just a week ago.

Now I'm jealous.
We don't get snow here, so I have to undertake an overseas trip in order to see snow or go skiing.
