It's pretty hypocritical to deride GW for valuing their pocketbooks over what's good for the growth of the hobby while you are buying on ebay and playing in your friendly local gaming store.

"December 14th 2012?!?!"

Apart from being an entire year off still I'm sure it'll be a treat though.

Next thing I want happening is Peter Jackson announcing he's as crazy about WHFB as he is about Tolkein.. wink.gif

*cackles with glee*

In all seriousness though the LoTR trilogy will be a hard act to follow, and the trailer looks like they tried to incorporate some of the silliness that was in The Hobbit. Not sure how well it'll translate onto the screen (those flying plates looked really weird for example), but I'm still SUPER EXCITED!

I've said it before, but Lord of the Rings looks like a fantastic game. Hope that this movie finally kicks it off in North America because no one else around here seems to play it.

I haven't played LoTR skirmish or War of the Ring beyond a LoTR demo. But folks who really understand game mechanics often remark LoTR is one of the best designed games out there.
