Immortal War IV
A Warhammer Fantasy 8th Edition tournament on the 29th October

Tickets can be purchased using http://www.paypal.com sending the funds to my address of dave_382@hotmail.com or email me on the same address if you wish to pay by cheque.

Please send £10 to this address as a gift with your full name, club and e-mail address. ( could you make sure you send the payment as a gift as we have tried to keep prices as cheap as possible )

There will be a 60 tickets on sale for this tournament with the possibility of more depending on demand

Rule Pack

A Warhammer 8th Edition tournament
Immortal War IV is a one day Warhammer Fantasy Tournament hosted by the
Sutton Coldfield Immortals.
To Take Part
The tournament will be held at All Saints’ Church Centre, Belwell Lane, Four
Oaks, B74 4TR.
Registering:
Each player must arrive with two army lists, one of which must be handed in at
front table.
Preparation:
All players must come ready with two army lists, rulebook, and army book. Faq (if required), dice, templates and a tape measure.
Army Selection
Army size is 2500pts of which a 1000-point and 1750 point list must be possible to the criteria listed for the scenarios below.
I You may not take 2 of the same Lord choice
II Maximum 12 power dice can be generated per magic phase
III No power scroll, ring of Hoeth, scroll of mighty incantations
IV Maximum 4 war machines
V Look out sir is allowed vs. the following spells, Dreaded thirteenth, Final transmutation, Dwellers below and Infernal gateway.
VI No special characters may be taken
VII No more than 2 of the same special choice may be taken
VIII Only the following armies may take the double rare: Bretonnians, Beast men, High Elves, Ogres, Wood Elves and Tomb Kings
IX Your 2500 points list must abide by the percentage system for army selection from the warhammer rulebook
X Victory points are awarded for units fleeing at the end of the game
XI A unit comprises of any single choice outside of characters listed in your warhammer army book
XII Maximum 60 models per unit
XIII No storm of magic
Awards
Awards will be handed out for 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Best-painted army, Sportsmanship and Last place.

If you wish to join us, then follow the A5127 north out of Sutton Coldfield
town centre. When you get to a roundabout by Four Oaks Methodist Church
and Four Oaks Station take the second exit up Four Oaks Road. All Saints’
Church is at the top of the hill by the traffic lights. If you are coming from any
other direction, follow signs to Mere Green. At the roundabout in Mere Green
take the exit (Belwell Lane) going up the hill past Waitrose, and All Saints’
Church is at the top of the hill by the traffic lights.
Game 1: A call to arms
1000 points per side on a 4’x4’ table played as the battle line scenario with the following exceptions
I Army must comprise of 3 units minimum
II Army must have a character to be the general (this does not have to be the general for your 2500 point list). The character
gains the inspiring presence rule for this game only
III At least 300 points must be spent on core troops
IV No lord level characters
V No rare choices
Additional victory points
I Killing the enemy general 50pts
II Treasure! Pick 3 units from your army to carry your treasure, each treasure token is worth 100vps and is won if the enemy
unit holding it is wiped out. You must reveal which units hold the treasure to your opponent. Characters/mounts cannot carry
treasure
III No victory points are scored for capturing standards
Scoring:
To win you must score 200 vps more than your opponent, between 0-199 vps is considered a draw.
Game 2: Reinforcements
1750 points on a 6’x4’ table, played as per meeting
engagement scenario with the following exceptions
I You must include all of the army you fought with
during game 1
II No additions can be made to the units/characters
used in game 1(if a unit was 20 strong in game
1, it will be in game 2/3, characters cannot add
equipment or items of any kind)
III Only deploy your 1000 point list, your additional
750 points will come on as reserves
IV A minimum of two units must make up your
additional 750 points
V You may choose a different general before
deployment begins
Additional victory points
I Killing the enemy general 50 vps
II No victory points are scored for capturing standards
Scoring
To win you must score 300 victory points more than your
opponent, between 0-299 victory points are considered a
draw.
Game 3: All out assault
2500 points on a 6’x4’ table played as per dawn attack
scenario with the following exceptions.
I You must include all of your army you fought with
in games 1 and 2
II No additions can be made to the units/characters
used in game 1(if a unit was 20 strong in game
1, it will be in game 2/3, characters cannot add
equipment or items of any kind)
III You may choose a different general before
deployment begins
Scoring
To win you must score 300 victory points more than your
opponent, between 0-299 victory points is considered a
draw A win is worth 9pts, draw 6pts and a loss 3pts,
