Great report, really enjoyed it (I've only watched the Dwarf battle so far). Good work on the win.

I had no idea there is 'a debate' on whether or not you get to over-run when crumbling an undead unit on the Charge.. I have no intention of really starting that debate in this this thread.. but if you want my two cents on that issue I'll just say that it sounds really stupid.. Of course you would have gotten the over-run if you had opted to just crumble that ghost-base rather than chopping it up with a magic weapon.
Where is this debate taking place? *lol* I haven't spotted it on Warseer. Anyway.. yeah like I said: whoever says you don't get to over-run on crumble is just plain wrong IMO.
Game vs Dwarves was nice to watch as well. I play against them a lot as you know. That was a really nicely painted army he had as well. Well, the VC army was nice too of course..
Thanks for sharing! Cheers! |
According to a strict reading of the RAW, the crumble happens after the round of combat has been fought. Overrun only applies to units that have been wiped out in the "round of combat". Ergo, no overrun against units that have been wiped out due to crumble.

Wow.. I had no idea. Can't double-check what you say at the moment but I Believe you. That's insane. No way in hell we're gonna play it like that.

Yeah, I think the VC community first cottoned on to that little gem... we've been ignoring it so far, but I don't know for how long. It really is a bit too powerful imo.
