Hell demons!

Finished it up yesterday, except for varnishing and perhaps adding some blood effects, not sure just yet. So it will be truly finished this evening hopefully.

Just blood left! Decided that I wonīt go overboard since the skin turned out so red, but will add some to the chains at least. And try ti restrain myself a little....

Thanks! Oh, probably a "Bloodthirster" or so, since I have no motivation at all to start with my fiends. And the killer crocs are also on my to do-list, but they will have to wait for the reaper of Hell!

Reaper is surfing the base! Too bad he is a little on the "rear heavy" side....well, Iīll sort it out somehow.

Now, time to start the skin.....ugh.

I've made my eye on that model before.. Honestly I think it would fit better as a Khornate DP but don't let that stop you!

It's a cool model though, it'll be fun to see where you'll be taking it.

Yeah, in a traditional demon army at least. No, I see where you are coming from. It does not look like a bloodthirster. But it is kind of big, I made a comparion shot and afterwards realised that my modular bases and crappy photos rendered it useless, but if you are intrested here it is at least.



They are about the same size. I think that the BTs wings are broader but these are longer also.

I saw that conversion and instantly thought about Tim Curry's character from the movie Legend. Red skin and shiny black horns ... would have almost been a perfect representation. And would sort of fit in w/ the movie theme.

Now that you mention it...yes, that would be exactly like him =)

And done! Or almost at least. Thougth I should take some pictures before the spray varnish destroys it, and Iīll wait to add some blood to the scythe until then also I think....

Not sure about the wings. I tried to fix an effect to rescemble veins but not sure if I overdid it.

don't take offence but i think you need to layer up the flesh a bit... it looks a little one dimensional at the moment. I think the model could be something special, but you really want to pop... bjorn's method of doing his bloodletters comes to mind

No offence taken. I do appreciate comments, even if I donīt always follow them.

And I looked at the model and spiced up some more washing, but I really think that it was overexposed by lightning when I took the picture because the skin donīt look that flat IRL. Itīs way darker and more reddish.

Since my army is kind of done for a tournament next week I am putting my effort into my Hordes warband at the moment. Just finished my second caster and are really proud of how it turned out. Would you guys here like to see more of my updates or should I keep this thread only for my demons?
