1500pt Tournament Nurgle Army, What do you think?

I am currently on a big paint up of my army to be ready for a 40k tournament in 3 weeks at warhammer world. Im just looking for thoughts on my premlinary list. Played a game against sisters last week and it wrecked shop although i lost due to ku'gaths free nurglings which i used as it was a friendly game. Let me know.

I don't think Kugath is worth the points. Go for a GUO and Wings for your princes. Also don't forget Noxious touch! This power is incredible!

imo, at 1500 you'd be better off just going with something like:

HQ: Epidemius

Troops: Xx Plaguebearers (Bells and Icon)

Troops: Xx Plaguebearers (Bells and Icon)

Heavy: Demon Prince (Cloud of Flies, Flight, Iron Hide, MoN, Demonic Gaze)

What i am taking is based on what models i have and can paint in time. Therefore i cant take 3 princes as i only have 2. i should have stated this before sorry.

Also, i think Ku'Gath is pretty good for his points, his shooting attacks are all pretty neat and he is a beatstick in combat. He is also very, very hard to kill. In my last game he survived being chased by a exorcist all game, shot at by 8 heavy bolters and outlasted the eviserator cannoness in hth and struck her down turn 7.

@Lord Eltor My lack of noxious touch on my princes is nothing more than a small point save. Hopefully the tally will be up rather quickly and they'll get the touch anyway.

I have run lists like this I took 2 Plague Hulks in them and mopped the floor with EQM armies. but The guys I play with are more about fun themed armies than optimized WAC armies. lots of PlagueBs can really help your army hold units up until the DPs can come in and kill the what ever has got them tied up. I also took some Beast of Nurgle as well just for kicks... they are not as bad as they look.. well they are and that is why they get ignored until the end when the contest and objective. and they are too tough to be shot dead in turn 6 when most units are dead... or at half strength...thanks to the Plague Hulks..

Protect Epidemius! The most important thing in any Nurgle armie. Needs more than 6 PBs if some one gets to him. Us Epidemius in the middle of it, place him with 14-20 PBs and get his aura of decay to do itīs thing. The flies is another thing he has that can benefit the unit. Get lots and lots of AoD in the unit it is perfect to have especially when you face big units, mostly hits on 6īs but works in C.C and in shooting! Kills more than you would think. KuGath is a favorit of mine, always hard to kill and has a shooting att and AoD! Played orks resently with my 1500p nurgle list and it looked like this:

Worked as a charm and killed all ork but for 230p of them. Had a unit of PB sidlined in warp for the game but still mopped up. Need to have touch on the DPs to get the tally quickly and the AoD did its thing I can tell you!! The orks played Green tide, boyz, boyz, boyz had allmost no place to DS turn 3 =)
