User Feedback, Tell us what you think

Hey there one and all. We hope you are as excited as we are about this new forum. We have seen great growth and we're hoping to realize the vision of a great community here. We want to know what you think about the site. How is the look, layout, etc.? Is there a section or activity/competition you'd like to see happen? We strongly feel that active involved leadership is the key to this communities succeess. Therefore we want to hear about any great ideas you've got.

Love the board, everything looks great and seems to be working fine. This place has grown pretty quick for only being around a couple of weeks.

As far as suggestions go you might want to look at putting up a market place board. I can't see it getting much use now, but when the site picks up I'm sure there will be plenty of people looking to sell/trade some models.
Oh and also since most of the members seem to be from Southern Ontario(like myself) I would like to have the clock on each post changed to Eastern Standard Time, but that's more of a personal preference.

Everythings wicked except one thing. I don't suppose it's possible to put in a post spell checker eh? For those of us who are either semi or fully dyslexic like myself it would be hugely appriciated.

I don't see anything like that in the admin controls, unfortunately. The only thing I can suggest is that you run your posts through word before putting them here if it's that big of an issue.

Of course, having read your tactica, I don't think there'll be any issues with comprehension, and everyone should be more understanding, as it's not like you're intentionally misspelling words.

Changing the clock I can do no problem, and I agree that it's a better standard, at least for now.

Man, the Canadians are really taking over. LOL. Just remember Ratrek, D is for lisdexia. That's how I keep it straight. I agree about a marketplace though. I've been using bartertown a lot lately, but if I can trade or buy from daemon players I might be more likely to get what I want. We'll see what can be done (meaning look for it soon!).

Also you should put when the board was established(the date). Maybe down at the bottom in the board info section.

Ah, ToM, more great ideas. Next time I meet with the admins I'll bring that stuff up. Thanks for posting our link on the warhammer forum. A link for the Daemonic Legion was conspicuously missing.

Right, I saw that. I was glad you put our name on there becuase there were no one else representing the Daemonic Legion. In fact, I don't know of any other site, except the previous board (may it rest in peace) that is strictly Daemonic Legions.

The board itself has been changed to eastern time, but each user will still have to go into their own settings and manually tell it what time zone they're in. That's how invision works, basically.

Our member count seems to have jumped by 10 or so...how...? This is amazing! People are joining like it's going out of style!

Well...they're joining, anyways.

Oh, sorry that was me. I saw that a bunch of people were awaiting authroization. I know a bunch of people that were on the list (El Diablo, ti4, etc.) and so I OK'd them for membership. Maybe they were just too lazy to check their email for the confirmation. Maybe I did a bad thing......but that's why it jumped like it did in one day.
