The Burninator!! Group: Admin Posts: 3,306 Member No.: 4 Joined: 15-September 04	Hi there everyone! I am glad to report that we have been doing awesome as a site, community, forum, and resource. I have always had big plans for this place and I want to thank you all for helping me realize those plans. Our website has been a major force in getting us recognition and respect thanks to many helpful articles and pictures contributed to the site. I am now hoping to take us to the next level. I've come very close to maxing out the limited resources of our free host. Also, I've wanted to register our very own domain name for some time now (thedaemoniclegion.com) with the hopes that this will make our URL easier to find and remember. I can kill both these birds with one stone by registering our domain name through our current free host (freewebs). In registering our own .com name through them we will be bumped up to being a premium user which greatly improves our storage and transfer capacity and gives us a number of other options we didn't have before. All this can be done at the bargain price of $20 a year. I want to give everyone the opportunity to help out with this and so have set up a donation link on the main site page. You'll see the donate button at the bottom of the first paragraph. I am hopeful that just a couple of small donations (I'm talking like $3-$5 and if you're a bit better off, maybe $10) to help fund this expansion. The donations will be used strictly for site costs and maintainence and perhaps for prizes for various competitions we hope to hold (painting comp, conversion/sculpting, fluff writing, etc.). I'd like to reward people that do well in these events. I also want to find a way to thank those that donate. I could do a number of things from custom titles, to special icons for their signatures, to special mention on the site, or whatever you think would be appropriate. Please give me some feedback here and let me know what would be an appropriate way to recognize those who are helping the Legion move forward. I didn't photoshop it, all I did was snap it and crop it, and it came out uber bad ass as you can see.

Yep, that's the plan.

Oh and Gary brought up a good point. For those who don't want to risk clicking on bogus banners or what not feel free to use the email address of the Legion if you'd like to send payment via paypal that way. It's thedaemoniclegion(AT)gmail.com. Please replace the (AT) with @ since I don't want any bots crawling this page to grab email addresses for spam lists etc.

I have finally found some time to whip up a couple of decal samples for those who donate $10 or more to the Legion. I will PM those who have already donated so they can choose their design. I will make them large enough so they can still fit in a normal envelope, but if you need something smaller, let me know. I did the samples in black but you can choose any of the colors below.
