I had a couple of posts in the army list section as I was deciding which flavour of chaos I was going to collect. Since I decided on daemons I thought I better come say hello as I guess I'll be hanging out here more often in the future. I played 40k and fantasy back in the 90s then had quite a long break. I got back into 40k last year (CSM) and I started with fantasy again back in February. I have been playing Skaven but I wanted a change from painting the hordes of rats and I thought chaos would make a nice change. Plus daemons have the advantage that I can also play them in 40k. I debated various basing options but I've decided to go with square as fantasy is my main game and I don't like the movement tray option for round based. I can't imagine the shapes of bases would be a problem for anyone you'd ever want to play against. As a strict 100% fantasy player I must of course applaud your final decision on that one.. On the other hand, given the fact that Fantasy is predominantly played on "movement trays" it'd be pretty easy to rank up round bases where-as square bases in 40k is always going to catch the eye. I was also considering Daemons for both Fantasy and 40k but got distracted from collecting Daemons as my Night Goblins kept giving me the eye as they haven't had money spent on them since th BfSP was released

If you fancy a game give me a shout, I think I can get my skaven up to about 2k or I have 1.5k of CSM. Daemonette Group: Members Posts: 48 Member No.: 3,093 Joined: 23-March 12	Well I can put out 1.5k Night Goblins and got 1k Black Templars when the rest arrive so up for it either way, what and where is the battle bunker (newish in town)
