This above screenshot says it all, doesn't it guys?

I played Dawn of War like a madman (well, the first RTS version anyway) and this one coming in a few days just looks like something that will have me go all religious again.

It'll even have co-op (within a month or so) so me and the better half can play together.

Just awesome! Couldn't help starting a thread about it!

... Can't believe there's no "co-op" campaign mode for this game..

What's wrong with them?!

And this is so common with Shooters too.. I know alot of people who just plain won't buy this game purely because it's got no real co-op mode.

Sad really..

Freaking awesome screenshot!

It's pretty hypocritical to deride GW for valuing their pocketbooks over what's good for the growth of the hobby while you are buying on ebay and playing in your friendly local gaming store.

Yeah it's a pretty nice game too. Got a pretty nice vibe running through it. Sure beats the crap out of Gears of War two times over. Still pretty pissed about there being no co-op campaign mode though. The days are over when I could really commit myself to playing "computer-games" by my lonesome I guess...

EDIT
Not that anyone is ever gonna read this thread again, but I actually beat this game today. Playing on "normal" skill-level it was not too difficult right up until the final "boss-fight". That last part of the game actually had me half give up for a while..

Power Hammer and Plasma Pistol for the Win.. That's all I'm gonna say really. Yeah sure you get the Heavy Bolter, the Lascannon, the MultiMelta.. but NOTHING beats the Power Hammer and simple Plasma Pistol!!

I wonder if the real 40k table top game plays the same way.. smile.gif
