2250 mean list

Ok so our little gaming group is trying to come up with the meanest list we can at 2250 so i figured i would give it a go with the models i have. that being said if you guys can come up with something meaner ill go buy it

What you've got looks like a super solid list. If you to induce seething hatred in your opponents you probably want to go Ld-bombing though. Masque+Lvl 4 Kipper, +Death Tzerald with Great Icon of Despair = wailing and gnashing of teeth.

unfortunately he couldn't fit a level 4 keeper in, and without phatasmagoria the ld bombing doesn't offer as much threat, dont get me wrong, the masque and the -2 ld is still a great combo, but to make it really deadly you're kinda need that level 4

also, what lore will you be taking on your herald ri0t?

I am still debating that. im thinking maybe life since the letter units feel a bit small to me but shadow might be a possibility as well.

So this is for a campaign we are playing so there is a chance if my mines roll ok next round i may have 2500 points instead of 2250. is there a post somewhere on the forums about this evil LD bomb list? or can someone give me a quick rundown on it? it sounds fun if i can fit it in 2500

basic leadership bombing list must include:
The Masque
Great Icon of Despair
Level 4 Keeper of Secrets (in hopes of getting phantasmagoria and slicing shards of slaanesh)
HoTz with lore of Death (for the -d3 leadership)

basically you can pop most units by winning combat with a bloodletter horde, they will test against leadership with a possible -8 to their leadership on 3 dice.

It can be quite effective against normal armies, but against daemons or VC or TK, it doesn't have the same effect, also if you meet a unit thats stubborn, your plans fall apart as well

as for your lore choices in the original list, i would say life, for the sole reason that t7 bloodletters are sooooooo much fun... got it off the other week and i squealed like a little girl with joy

lol i couldnt get a more varied bunch of oponents if i tried, its hard to tailor your list against these

empire gunline - standard list with option 4 would be best for these, as they likely have a level 4 and a load of war machines

dwarf gunline - pretty much the same as empire, except if you took option 4, your scribes will be virtually useless

ogres - i'd want either 2 or 4, 2 to bring them down before they go into combat, 4 for the chaff and spell generation... actually i kind of want 1 to get the charges off before they can

beastmen doombull, option 2, basically you dont want to get into combat with it unless you know for sure you can take it down

vampire counts, option 4, because they will be throwing a lot of dice at invocation. blue scribes are awesome against them

so... yeah... its a kind of toss up, i would love flamers to deal with ogres and beastmen, option 4 can screen until you get into combat against gunlines, but has a 81pt model than will be all but useless

its a tough one basically

lol oops, i've been commenting on too many army lists, sorry about that... just ignore me... i've taken too many of these pain killers and they are starting to do funny things to my mind

but as for making a 2500pt ld bombing army... against the armies you lists, i just wouldnt. dwarfs have a few stubborn units, vc dont flee etc... i'd stick with a similar list to your 2250 list
