Hello all - I would like your thoughts on the list... I'll post it first, then add my thought processes for each piece after I get any comments, advice and tweaks. I played this list last night vs. a Tzeench themed WoC list, and had a resounding victory. (Epic note - My BSB Herald of Khorne won 4 (!) challenges in the game, my great opponent brought 3 characters to the game, and the BSB killed 4...) ---------------------------------------------------------------- 2200 Pts - Daemons of Chaos Roster - 2200 Daemons - with LoC IV Total Roster Cost: 2198 Lord Lord of Change, Tzeentch's Will, Master of Sorcery (Light Lore) Heros Herald of Slaanesh, 1 Siren Song Herald of Khorne (Battle Standard Bearer), Great Icon of Despair, Armour of Khorne, Soul Hunger Core 1 Bloodletters of Khorne (44) - FC, Icon of Endless War Special 6 Flesh Hounds of Khorne 3 Screamers of Tzeentch Rare 7 Fiends of Slaanesh Thoughts please? Any brutal criticism and advice from your wicked experience - thanks!

Lone Siren Herald? 0.o How's that been working out for you?
Otherwise what really stands out to me is that other than the one unit of Screamers you ahve no chaff! I'd split the Fiends into two units (6-1) to give yourself something to play with.
And Light is an awesome lore for Bletters, and pretty good for Flounds, but not great for Fiends or the LoC. Beasts would work well with this list (pretty good for Bletters and Flounds, great for Fiends and LoC, good damage spells as well). Unlike mithosiris, I think the LoC can be perfectly viable here.

The HoS (I call her "Calliope") pulled out the Chaos Knights on Turn 2, she was at 19" inches so they of course failed. She stayed out of combats for the rest of the game, and ended on her feet - I tried several times to set her up for flank charges to support the Bloodletters, but couldn't *quite* get her at the right spot at the right time.
My Bloodletters were able to make the charge using the Icon of Endless War, and in 1 full turn (I think, 2 combat rounds) I was able to take them out.
They eventually took out the Chaos Knights, Chaos Warriors, and Marauders w. Great Weapons by the end of the game.
By the way, the LoC was able to cast Briona's Timewarp a stunning 3 times (had GREAT rolls for the game) and also used the re-roll at least twice to change outcomes.
It helped that he didn't have much of magic dispel for his list, having two mages - one lvl 3 Tzeench Lord mage something or other, and one more lvl 2.
The LoC was out of combat for the whole game.
As far as chaff - I think the extra fiend as chaff is a good idea - but the idea behind the massive unit of fiends (I've never heard of anyone running a unit of 7) is to destroy the rank bonus of a unit the Bloodletters are in combat with, and 3 extra wounds in the unit maintains the +1 rank the Fiends require to remove ranks.
At least that's my justification.

This unit is very common in competitive enviroment with a 6 flamer unit when flamers "were" good. Now I think people will use 8 instead of 7.

The list looks like it will do decent against some matches and will really, really struggle against others.
I think that Elves of any flavour, Empire, Dwarfs, Lizardmen and Skaven would be despicably hard matches for you to win.
Those are all armies who can stack a ton of magic defense (thus making life harder for your LoC) and have a ton of shooting which will shred your army due to its very low unit/model count.
With that being said, Warriors, Ogres, and Brettonia would be good matches.
If you are married to the list, I would recommend swapping Light for Life as Regrowth and Flesh to Stone will do good things. Not to mention the miscast resistance which Throne of Vines gives and the 4+ regeneration you can gain from Earth's Blood (which is superior to your 5+ ward save on a 550 point model).
Ideally, I think swapping the LoC for another Core block would be even better. Horrors would be my choice for the magic defense but anything would work great TBH.
