Cool stuff. The freehand motive is really nice and so is the base work. smile.gif

Cool concept done from parts that are usually leftovers from our own boxes. Chaos marine shoulder pads could be used there too I pressume. Lovely indeed =)

Nice! Very creative and original, and he looks pretty bad-a** too! Is he tall enough that the cape won't be interfering with him ranking up?

Creative conversion! Nice step-by-step presentation too! smile.gif
Reckon it'll look really good in a big fat unit of 'Letters!

Well done. Ive been considering making up 3-4 of these heralds on foot and running a tzerald with beasts magic to buff them to insanity.

Chaos marauders have some nice shoulder pads and capes in their bits that could be used for this as well.

The cape is from the bit from bloodletter's banner. I just bend it that it would just fit nicely with the 2nd and 3rd rank of bloodletters.

Close up pics of the shoulder pads.

Could have used Chaos Space Marine shoulder pads but they felt like too bulky

Very nice conversion, he certainly fits the bill, good painting too. I like the idea of using the banner for a cape, I recognised it immediately. I think though that it looks a little too rigid to be someone's cape... but that's just my arty picky head on! ^^

Loving the base. I seem to be obsessed with peoples bases. I'm sure its just because I never get started on mine. tongue.gif
