Going in to the woods for a battle against my WE playing friend. We have played so many matches together that I have decided to take a silly list just for fun.

Hoping for 3 bolt of change each round of magic, and that Skulltaker can hold up treekin for 2-3 rounds (iiiik) Daemonettes can put a hurt on the unit with the "Hail of doom" char. And thats about it.

My friend knows Daemons good by now, but im hoping he will be conflicted about what to shoot at. He usually shoots my Daemonettes, wich is what I`m hoping for.
2 Single Fiends is to protect my flamers, he usually brings two nobles with 2+ ward agains flaming.

Battlerapport will be up sunday at the latest.

Big win, opponent in a foul mood so it turned out to be in norwegian. Scandinavians only I guess.

Why was he in a foul mood? Didn't look too one-sided that battle.. (?) I mean, with the LoC left on the table of course you won the game, but still..

Hehe not to onesided in the end, but he was in a world of hurt early on. His kids, dogs and wife was on his case from the get go.

Ended up winning with about 650 points, kinda rubbed it in that is was a sub, sub prime rooster.

He is buying a 4000 points Empire army fully painted from Hong Kong now, so it will be fun to play against him with a relly competative army.

Yeah I saw a dog sneaking by there in one of the shots.. hehe

Funny you should mention those crazy Asians.. I was in contact with one of those companies a little while ago, since I am on the prowl for painted Dark Elves (but the people I talked to wanted INSANE amounts of money so that was a dead end..).

And yeah, I've only gotten one game against the new Empire book but from what I have seen (and read) so far it's actually got quite a few nasty tricks (especially against us poor, poor Daemons..) :)

So he is going for a 5 k points really competetive army, came out to 3200 euros. And thats with 30% discount. But he`s a doc with his own practice. Pocket change for that mofo.

Not that bad I guess.. Concidering it's all painted and compositioned(?) already. I mean, although not purchased in 'one go' like this, I Think I must have spent quite a bit more Money on my Daemons (or Warhammer in general) in the last few years. Of course.. your friend is not buying 30000 Points Worth of models.. so yeah he should do a divition to see what the cost per model is there.. :)

But hey if it's pocket-change either way then perhaps he doesn't care.. If he's doing well even by Norwegian standards I can certainly understand how he's just relieved to get a finnished army no questions asked.

Would be cool to run a game vs you guys at some Point.
