Title: Something nasty 1600 points.

If you would design a 1600point list, only battleline scenario. As hard as possible. Special characters allowed. What would you do?

General would be either the HoK or HoT
Herald of Khorne
Herald of Slaanesh
Herald of Tzeentch
Spell Breaker, Shadow magic
FC, Endless War (maybe drop for BSB)

Personally, i like having the siren song because it can be used to deal with all kinds of potentially nasty problems but if the nettes aren't your cup of tea, swap the HoS for a naked HoN and the nettes for PB's with seeping decay. Then run light on the HoT instead of shadow, that will kick ass as well.

Looks hard, but I was thinking something silly like 80 Bloodletters In one unit, two Tzeenchheralds and the Masque. You see we selldom have these kind of tournaments with silly lists so I kind of wanna go overboard If you know what i mean :)

lol fair enough. i'm one of the subscribers to the dogma that "balance is the filth of 8th" and that a balanced list daemon list is much harder than anything gimmicky.
that being said, how bout kitsune's list of 2 fiends, 2 HoT's, and all your other points in ONE unit of horrors? proceed to blast everything with your bolt of change for the whole game

I doubt a single giant unit of Bletters is going to win you many games. That unit would be unwieldy as hell, and the opponent could keep away from it easily.
Giant Horror unit might fare a little better if you're going for gimmick, but I'm also strongly of the opinion that balanced gives the best bang for your buck, especially with Daemons.

I fear that you are right, I have actually never played with a true gimmicklist so I thought I try one just for kicks.
The Masque looks good on paper but her dances have a short range, what do you think about her?
What about, 40+40 Bloodletters, two Heralds of Tzeench with wings and Master of sorcery, The Masque and to top It off some single fiends.

she's good, just park her behind one of the letter hordes, she'll be nice and safe with a 3++ and a 4+ LO,S. she can only target one unit with her -D3 LD so you might be better off with a BSB that can affect all units within 12" at -2 for 10 pts more. looks good though, pretty filthy for 1600 pts. i'd like a little more chaff since units of 40 are easily picked on but you know your local environment better so it might not be necessary.

Masque Is 90 points, BSB plus Despair Is 100 points not counting the Herald.
The things I listed Is 1406 points so there Is 194 points left for chaff.
So two Fiends 110 plus single Jugger 70 and perhaps a Champion?
