I am new around here so I apologize if this has popped up before somewhere. I ave researched the answer to this question on other sites and I have found many good arguments supporting both sides. What I want is to know how this rule is treated in your local meta, your local tournaments, ard boy touraments. Because over all that is where it matters.

Here is the question if you don't already know what I am talking about or didn't apply the thread topic to the above paragraph lol:

Can you take multiples of the same Icon in one list?

Some people say it is a daemonic gift and a magic item as per the faq so the answer would be no.

Others say it is a daemonic gift and reference many page numbers explaining their claim.

What is the general consensus? If I am running a mono god list I kinda need to know lol. Because that is a lot of points that change.

I'll even start a poll so we can vote then discuss. Just to get a general idea of what people think in terms of numbers. But vote with how you think it IS inteneded, not how you THINK it should be. There is a big difference.

No need for polls, you cannot have multiple icons as written in errata.

Since they are magic standards they are also magic items and you cannot have more than one on your list. Even though many think that it is quite stupid rule addition, there really isnt much we can do about it. There has been some discussion about it and we all have agreed that it should be played like rules say. We can only have one flag each.

Thanks for the clarification. Oh well. Back to the drawing boards I suppose.
