Look I was playing Savage orc big uns with shrunken head shaman they are basically daemons (With FRENZY and 5+ ward I feel rather khornate) :)

I took my woman and daughter to adepticon, it was a nightmare!!!

You've gotta read the codex though. They're super human warriors who are more elite than space marines, all of whom are basically sorcerors. I can make an army of multi wound, seventy point psykers in terminator armour. Fluff wise, their grand master carved his name into the heart of one of the daemon primarch's (Mortarion) as an act of revenge. I mean, whose inner twelve year old wouldn't jump on that bandwagon?

Come to think of it, I can see where maybe things got out of hand in this codex, but it's still darned cool... :rock: I guess I just can't help myself.

Perhaps Tomb Kings is my next stop. ;) But I've got so much to do with my daemons before I can even begin to sweep the dust of that cover.

Yeah I have a TKs army (I use woodelf models that I converted) so I'm hoping they are badass!

Big AL, could you post a picture or two of the TK/Woodies? Sounds intriguing.

None of it is painted, and most of it still needs greenstuff work. but I'll take a couple of snapshots if you are still interested.

The army is going to be in an autumn theme.
I use dryads as tomb guard, I greenstuff vines and leaves on skellies to make them fit the theme, I use forrest constructs from hordes circle of orboros, I use the treewoman from ultraforge minis as a bone giant/warsphinx, and I have a lot of the old (4th and 5th ed) treemen that I will sculpt vines and roots pulling a sled of some sort as my chariots. My catapults are treemen with their arms in a Y shape and some skellies pulling back a slingshot.
My king is drycha with vines coming out of the ground around her, my liche priests are WE mages that are floating around, and I have a BSB made up from one of the floating mages. I can also my avatars of war DE sorceress as a liche if I want to.

Read through the book and look at their fluff...

Anyone playing grey knights over daemons in 40k is only insulting themselves...
