I have become just the 6th member of the Daemonic Legion forum to hit 1,000+ posts. Joining the likes of gjnoronh, Trogdor, The_Avatar, Big AL & Kristov. I've had my up's and down's on the forum. But I have to admit I have enjoyed the ride.

Daemons are my current tournament army, I've had a blast playing and building my new Chaos army. I have even branched out to adding Khorne, Slaanesh & Nurgle units into my army. As a long time Tzeentch player, I never thought that would happen. As I said it's been a crazy 1,000+ posts.

I now have now collected over 4,000 points of Daemon models, by the end of 09 I hope to have all of them painted. Then I will move on to painting my Warriors of Chaos.

Won't they just ban Little Al for being an LOTR model?

I hope not, but people have used Lord of Ring models at games Workshop events for a long time. Big AL Bloodthirster is a LoR model also.

As for the using LOTR models at the GW tournys the only issue they have is that they will not photograph your models or put you up for best painted army. Well thats the case in the UK anyways :)

I believe it's the same in the states also. I been hitting GW GT's since 2003 and lot's of player's use Lord of the Rings & 40K models or bits. I plan to use the model for the 'Ard Boyz and some local RTT events. most of the time it will be in show case with the rest of my Chaos models.

Well done for reaching the milestone. If i played daemons more i would understadn but GoC posts are always good.
