Title: 1750 Epidemius

Hey all, ==Me== here.

You know, you love it, Epidemius lists are obnoxiously powerful and that just how I like 'em.

It's simple, drop in, not die, and let the DPs rack up the tally before setting the Nurglings loose. The DPs are obscenely expensive, but you get what you pay for. In ==My== experience, Epi lists suffer horribly against tanks and speedy units that avoid your DPs. Wings gives them supreme mobility and they can catch and kill just about anything. Once they start raking in the kills, Nurglings really start to shine (wounding on a 2+ and ignoring saves!).

What worries ==Me== most is Land Raiders, do you think I should drop the BoN for some Screamers just in case?

Man up and take it, you don't need screamers (besides the fact it would be an abomination to include them in that army ;) )

I'm not a 40k expert, but you have 3 flying MCs + a GUO, surely you should be able to handle a landraider?

S5 on the DPs is ==My== main concern, but with enough swings I should be able to crack it.

I'd start out by dropping the beast of nurgle for something else. Namely, more Nurglings or some such. It's just asking to get blatted and it's not that great; it's essentially a couple Plaguebearers rolled into one and an easy kill point.

The DPs are bloody expensive, but only in Nurgle lists would I be behind that many sets of wings.

Screamers...well, they might actually not hurt you, but you'd only be taking 3-4ish, and that's not a hard killpoint to get. Same problem as the Beast, really, and it's not like you can hide 'em well.

I think pure Nurgle just has to deal with the fact that vehicles will be a pain to handle. You'll HAVE to dedicate Daemon Princes to killing 'em, but the majority of vehicles are AV10 on the back and that's what matters.

S5 + 2d6 = average of 11-12, so yeah, you'll need to devote some serious attention to Land Raiders in the form of multiple charges, and you may or may not get to keep the Daemon Princes afterwards. (Personally, if you're charging some of MY land raiders, you're going to deal with 6-7 assault terminators countercharging you with either Lightning Claws (not so scary) or master-crafted thunder hammers [so long, daemon prince])

You'll also have issues against anyone with widespread ways of killing Nurgle units (power weapons, plasma weapons, melta weapons, and flamers for the Nurglings).

The other big problem I see is dealing with vehicles in general, since I've read a lot about people simply tank-shocking you off objectives.

Overall, beyond the Beast and the heavy wings, looks fairly standard in terms of an Epedimius list.
