Title: New Site Design...AGAIN!
Description: Grrr

wyrmling_x - February 3, 2005 04:38 AM (GMT)
Ok, so our previous free webspace failed us (ie. they deleted my account or something). And, due to laziness/business/etc.ness, it's only now that I'm updating. I must apologise for my absence, as it's only partly due to school. Anyways, I've got the new design up (based on my personal site layout) and will be "filled in" ASAP.

Feel free to discuss in the Main Site Discussion forum.

The worst of it is that i have to set up the entire gallery again...and that'll take a few hours. <_<

EDIT: Oh right, go check out the new site, either by the redirect forum of by simply clicking here. :D

Right now it says the bandwidth limit has been exceeded. I find that hard to be true. But I do like the new banner across the top of the forum!! I'm excited to see the new look. Did you ever talk to Be'lakor about a "reliable" web host?

Gah! I despise the internet! This free webhost was just temporary, and WAS reliable, but now even it fails me. Figures. I've tried the best of the best sites, and they all fail in one area or another. Garbage!

We need money!

*Whispers in evil voice* Talk to Be'lakor. He promises power untold to those with the strength to take it for their own!

Sewioulsy, I think he may have a solution for us.

I'm not sure about how much bandwidth you need for the site and forums (certain options can really reduce forum bandwidth usage) but a quick google search and I found a site with pretty resonable hosting services. Try ixwebhosting or just do a google search. I don't know if 12 bucks a month is reasonable or not for you but you could always set up a paypal account and have a donations link so that members who really like the site can help keep it up and running. Just a few suggestions.

We are actually looking into a number of different options right now. We've found a few that start as low as $5 a month and there are even some free options (though they make you just through a few hoops). We're hoping to have something set up here before long. Keep your eyes peeled!
