okay, so here's the deal. i'm doing a story that involves all lands ever created in writing....or most, cause finding that many would be nearly impossible....>.<

anywho, if you guys could just list a few settings in books you've read, it'd be really helpful. Any land is welcome, even one you've made up, as long as you plan on having it (your story w/ said land involved) published at one point or another.

so, i need lands and titles, and if you desperately want to, you can include authors names. actually, you should include author's names....

yep, so, if you guys could do that, that'd be really helpful. :)

What was your idea exactly? Sounds interesting, I guess I just dont understand what you are planning with this.

Do you need any "lands" or specifically from a genre like Fantasy. There are a lot of locales in books, I dont know.

-Middle Earth comes to mind fairly quickly (J.RR Tolkien, Lord of the Rings, of course)
-Alagaesia (or some similar spelling) from the Inheritance Trilogy-Christopher Paulini

I know theres a lot lot more, they just dont come to mind or fit into the typical "land" as can be put on a map. Some authors dont have names for their places.

There's always

Narnia (The chronicles of Narnia, C.S. Lewis)

and

Discworld (the Discworld series, by Terry Pratchett, not that I've read those)

i'm keeping my idea comfindential....sorry. i'll tell you this much, though. what is your character doing when you choose to write about it? confused? i'll put more details in my strongbox later. :)

and, to answer your question, anything from the real world (Earth) i'm not looking for, cause those are already here, lol.

Fantasy, yep. i don't read a lot of fantasy, and i know that there are tons of different settings, so those will be helpful.
