I think it's about time we get rid of the 3 evil monotheistic religions...If all proves correct then all 3 of them will be fairy tails for our grandkids!

Maybe it is to ask how religion came into being and whether this factor still exists in order to justify its existence. Or which factor exactly supports its existence today and eventually in the future ?

Well religion has surely done more harm than good to mankind. When it is taken on a personal level, religion/spirituality can have positive benifits, but when it is mass-marketed is when everything gets out of control. I think it would be best to end organized religion and to promote personal spirituality...

I think philosophy is closer to man than religion mostly because philosophy contains no dogma.

How can one grant one state of being a preferential treatment that is in concrete terms how do you come to the conclusion that "passions" instilled by institutionalized religions that might lead to the belief of superiority arent adequate ?

Do you have a certain way in mind on which mankind should proceed ?

I think DEA's coment about philisophy and no dogma would be close to answering your question, 123. The "certain way" your speak of could be philisophical rather than religious.

Well said DEA...

But if you are philosophical you might also ask yourself the question "Why"

Why shall they think instead of accepting ?
