Hey Lord, what's up? Long time no see!
Πώς τα πας; Ακομα είσαι το σκυλάκι του αφεντικού σου, του Χακάν, που είναι πιό έξυπνος από 'σενα και κάνεις ότι σου ζητήσει ;;
Το φόρουμ σου πώς τα πάει; Συνεχίζει να γεμίζει με Τούρκους, και εσύ να διώχνεις τους ΕΛΛΗΝΕΣ που μπορούν να τους κάνουν καλά;
Cheers!!

Ntropi tou... lets see how he'll think in 5-10 years. He will laugh at himself...

:friendship: Don't worry LORD we still think your great.
Nevermind these warmongers.
derkrieger - May 6, 2006 10:04 PM (GMT)
Lord dont see me as a Schleimer (=buttlicker in teutonic language) but;
If someone who served in the special forces of his country, who trains many athletes, among them national champs as well, is dubbed as a doggy of the enemy of his nation, nobody or very little number of citizens would then be able to qualify as patriotic-enough.
So never mind. It is a good thing we got rid of him.
Hades - May 6, 2006 10:24 PM (GMT)
I think derkrieger couldn't express it better... This PM/statement of Pytheas proves 100000% that our decision to permanently ban him was right at least... Am sorry if he feels that way against you, probably me as well, despite the efforts we made in the past for his sake... Ellinares tou poutsou
Cid - May 6, 2006 10:27 PM (GMT)
Correction; "we" didnt get rid of him. He got himself banned.
derkrieger - May 6, 2006 11:11 PM (GMT)
bia bla bla bla bla bla ( derkrieger trying to earn the honour of being the 2. Pytheas of WCF) :gang beat:
Cid - May 6, 2006 11:49 PM (GMT)
You can write down your opinion/evaluation or whatever you want to write about me in the forum, no problem. If it is going to contain offensive contends I suggest you pm or send an email to avoid problems with the mods.
May I make it clear that I have no interest in educating you. But I do have interest in pointing out we didnt got rid of a certain member as if we dumped him, because that would do unjust to the facts.
And I do not understand why you are upset that I send you a pm in english, perhaps you forgot that english is the Lingua Franca of this forum.
modus - May 7, 2006 09:51 AM (GMT)
Ok guys... :) Don't you see we're still being affected by the ghost of Pytheas. We need ghostbusters here... LOL
Brothers, Cid and Derkrieger, why don't you arrange a meeting, you both have Schengen's right? So use it. It would take some (well a lot of) time for me to get there to personally say what 'the hell are you doing' :). I think you should go for a couple of glasses of beer, I'm convinced that it will take just half-of-a-one-glass-of-beer time to go over the controversies, if any. Two intelligent guys, friends of mine...
* * *
Lord, my brother Theos, I know you don't take him seriously. He's shown he's just a defected product of a proud nation. No one can dare to measure your level of patriotism, and such preaks cannot understand the friendship among us.

With all due respect Modus, I am not the one who is frustrated and upset and who has a lower opinion about about a member and questions his nationality or ethnicity or whatever was meant with "what are you for a turk".
And I would want to spare these kind of people of any rationality or dialogue and give them the liberty to define me as they deem fitting in their shady minds and spare the forum from paranoia and witch-hunting.

What has Pytheus done for his nation other than keyboard patriotship?
We have a song in the famous Mehter band. It says
"This is called a Man arena,
There is no talking in it"
a man who has proved himself with his actions in his life cannot be blamed by keyboard patriots.. The administration of this forum is doing a great job. We might have differences but when we learn to respect eachother we might have a better future.

A man who knows himself does not need anything else. And he is stronger than anybody else.
This is you Lord.
End of story.

Man with that piece of rationality u spare me, I am doomed to stay irrational for ever. please have mercy upon me.
As a serious note however Cid, twas very late as I wrote that message and I read too much into ur correction I guess.
seen retrospectively I WAS totally irrational. I guess I REALLy need anger-management. Too much reading and studying, little encounter with the 2. (females) kind are the main causes. :)
Lets forget this excessive behaviour o'mine and lets move ON.
EDIT: that lower opinion was not really what I intended 2 write. I was surprised tho 2 receive a message in English from you. Lower opinion? man I dont even know u. You have all the right 2 be pissed off CID. I'd understand if u ignore me from now on.
Derkrieger 2 himself:::"Gezz this is not the first time, that I have 2 apologize for using too harsh words than I actually intend. I have to work on this subject."
Regards
Derkrieger

Hehehehe, I call that form of rationality; Mental Neutralization through Offensive Pacifism or Offensive Pacifism for short
Like I said I am not upset or pissed off or have any negative feelings about you. To be honest I don’t even have any structured opinion about you, only some presumptions because I hardly know anything about you. I guess we are in need of some dialogue to get to know each other better.
I guess the whole circumstance was created because as often people perceive reality by relating the experience only to them; Reality conceived by the mind rather than reality perceived by the mind.
The experience you had that I was out to correct you was created by the effect it had on you of for example, me using the word correction, me writing a very short sentence thus it was likely for me to be misunderstood, you having a low opinion about me for not writing to you in Turkish, by the fact it was late when you were reading and writing and probably some other factors. Subsequently you took the offensive to protect you personality/identity as you felt this was damaged or under fire by mine behaviour. When I read it I was surprised because I didn’t expect your reaction. Since I had little knowledge about you and since I was certain none of my statements against you were made under ill intentions perceivable to my knowledge, I took the decision of not making any attack on your personality/identity thus to prevent any further escalation of the dispute and give you the space and time to come to another conclusion.
That is my reflection on the situation.
Anyway no need to apologise as I have unintentionally contributed as well to the dispute. What is most important is that through reflection we have prevented an escalation. :friendship:

I hope you will not perceive me as the Correctionist Master Cid again, but might I recommend you Zen Buddhism. Some elementary study and practise of this philosophy can modestly enlighten the mind, by flexibilizing the thinking process, expanding the concentration and management of most of the internal and external inputs on the mind.

Cid

I have to Thank you Brothers...
Indeed I know that in the long term of REAL aprroaching and REAL friendship...without dyplomacy and ...BS...
we will lose the low minded..the Thickheaded...the "self declared protectors of there nations...etc etc)
To look into the past of a man...hes service towards hes country...In reality...and than talking BS about hem towards hem...is disrespect..
Therfore i wanted to announce this happening ...which ammused me...as disturbed me also...
Because if someone who would served hes country better then me..told me such an similar opinion...I would respect hes stand...as 'the other opinion"///
But if such brain pfurts appears...from persons who never served...never offered...Than iam simply pissed and ammused...
In the past its true I lost alot of "friends" because of my approach and creation in the WCF...
We lost all of our Cypriot "friends" in here...as I..have been called Turcophile...
And saying the trueth ...I give a damn...especially at the moment i served on this Island...which i also love very much...(Not particuallry all Cypriots...but the Island and some of its people)
so to make a resume...my announce in our WCF..wasnt out of Whinning nor out of frustration...
But Iam shure in the Turkish site there would be similar incidents...
so therefore i would say...If someone...really likes to approache the other site...
There is no Grecophile or Turcophile...There is only People with respect and honor...and understanding...and logic...which seeks for true friendship
which our countrys needs really...
I would never think to lose in this approach "friends" who really were seeking for answers...
And tell me the trueth friends...
In which other damn forum...greeks...wrote down...
1.About Kurds...? without the past well known BS...
2.Were happend the reall conversation about the Aegean Miles...were we for the first time..find solutions...?
3.Were ...in which forum...Turkish members...spoke about 55 Istanbul ..with disgrace to what happend...?
4.Were...in which forum...we ever spoke so truelly and with respect...?
even aknowledging the needs and rights of both sites...?
Were...
and without losing the Patriotism ...the love towards our country...
I just wanted to say this few words...
and maybe starting in this thread ....some questions...
What is your stand towards the 'other" site...after beeing in the WCF...? what did we learned from each other...in this forum...?
Regards

Until now I didn't participate in the discussion about Pytheas, partly due to lack of time,
partly because I am not rational enough to always take a stance against views which (in more orthodox ways expressed) I support.
The message Pytheas adressed to Lord lacks, always in my opinion, any level of civility.
Lord I get the idea the message heart your feelings. In the past I noticed that Lord is very coscious to make messages adressed to him public. I want to say that you shouldn't put too much time and thoughts into this message send by Pytheas.
A more critical point I want to adress to the other members (based on Saturn5's and Kizir's posts): The discussion of Pytheas' ban is past. It was decided that he should be banned based on events occured then. Whether it was wrigt or wrong doesn't matter anymore.
To justify his ban (which occured in the past) with these new facts, can't find my approval. The discussion shouldn't get blurry! Keep the two events strictly seperated.
This is all I wanted to contribute to this topic.
