Welcome to a Fate Worse than Death. A post Potter RPG.
In 2019 Shacklebolt was assassinated by a former follower of the Dark Lord. The new minister of magic being a radicle decided that the way to solve all of the problems in the wizarding world was to get rid of the Slytherin house at the school, send any and all followers and supporters of the Dark Lord to Azkaban and use their money to help rebuild and pay for the damages caused to the innocent wizards and the community.
The beginning of the 2020 school year is upon us and all the Slytherins have been resorted into the remaining houses or taken out of school entirely by their parents. Most of the parents of students are enraged. People do not want things to be disrupted. They dont want the houses integrated but on the other hand they can see where the stereotypical behavior of the Slytherins should be discouraged. The ministry is divided on this issue and so is the community. The entire wizarding world in an uproar and some people are whispering about the way things used to be and wishing for a way to bring the old times back. Starting with Voldemort.
There have been rumors and legends about the Dark Lord for years, about how young Potter found the horcuxes and defeated the Dark Lord. But now rumor has it there was an eighth one that Potter never found. A small group of students want to search for it.
Will you believe the rumors and search with them? Or believe the rumors and try to stop them? Do you like the way things are now or do you want to see the Wizarding community restored to the way things used to be? Choose wisely. There are severe punishments being handed out for those who oppose the ministry. Your life savings wont be the worst thing you will lose if you chose to defy the new man in power.
