TO APPLY FOR A CHARACTER, make a new thread in this forum. Title it with LAST NAME, First Middle, ie POTTER, James Sirius. Leave the topic description blank.

ONCE YOUR SHEET IS FINISHED, please make another post in your application thread saying that it is completed so we do not lose it among in progress sheets.

YOU HAVE TWO WEEKS to complete your application or necessary changes; otherwise it will be automatically denied. You can still reapply for that character (or a different one) later. For an extention on that time, pm an admin and pm only. Extensions will not be giving via email, im, or cbox. This is simply to keep things uncomplicated. No extension will be given if more than one person is applying for the same character.

AS A NOTE average height for a male in the UK is between 5'9 and 5'10; average height for a female is between 5'3 1/2 and 5'4 1/2.

IN ORDER TO KEEP THINGS EVEN, if you have two characters in the same member group, you will not have a third character in that member group approved unless you have at least two to three other characters.

FULL NAME | Annora Bronte Selwyn née Savage
NICKNAMES | Anne to her parents and sister; Rosebud to her husband.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE | Annora is tall and slim, standing about five feet eight inches tall. She has very fair skin that contrasts with long dark curly hair and deep brown eyes that are a touch on the small side. Dark brows are well shaped and tidy, but her lashes are a little too short and fine to properly outline her eyes. Her face is long and thin, her mouth a touch wide with pale pink lips a little fuller than average. Her nose is very straight, and a little thin, but otherwise unremarkable. She has straight white teeth, something she is proud of. When she smiles it is a little awkward and a little too friendly; she looks much more natural with the wide, honest smile she rarely exhibits.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES | A single piercing marks each of Annora's earlobes.
DRESS & HAIR STYLE | Everything that Annora wears is proper, feminine, and fashionable. For all that she does not want to stand out too much, she takes refuge in fashion. She prefers light, feminine colors mixed with dark neutrals. It is much more likely that she will be spotted in a dress or skirt and blouse than in trousers, and she never wears shorts. Her naturally curly hair, which hangs to about her shoulder blades, is usually either down or in a carefully carefree updo. Sometimes she straightens it.

MAGICAL WEAKNESSES | Transfiguration, Charms.
SPECIAL ABILITIES | Seer. She does not go into trances or have detailed visions, but using the tools taught in Divination and Arithmancy she can give uncannily accurate predictions on matters in the near future. However, the farther in the future an event is, the harder it is for her to See. She cannot See more than about a month into the future, and that is fairly rare.

PERSONALITY | Annora is very intelligent, possessing a high IQ and quick wits. She is also quite logical, making decisions that make sense. She is observant as well, taking careful note of her surroundings. Her pragmatic nature leads her to use her logic,intelligence, and skill at observation to do what is best for her and those she loves, and she is careful to keep her loved ones out of danger whenever possible. By nature, she is sweet and kind, caring a great deal about those around her.

Forced into becoming cunning and calculating to a fault, Annora takes her time to plan out what will be best for those she cares about without noting who she might walk over. She is quiet and reserved, rarely talking out of turn or expressing her ideas. She is a mousy creature, hiding herself shyly from those around her and scaring easily. In fact, she spends a great deal of her life scared, wishing that things could be different while possessing neither the drive nor the bravery to do something about the state of the world. After spending so much time playing the ingenue to protect herself, Annora has little idea how to stop presenting herself as innocent and unworldly.

Annora fidgets constantly, playing with her hair, twirling her jewelry, and smoothing her clothes. She refuses to wear true shades of red, green, yellow, or blue. The nickname "Rosebud" upsets her to the point that she despises roses.
SECRETS & ISSUES | Though it may shock those who know her, Annora is in love with a man not her husband. She knew him at Hogwarts, but never got up the nerve to tell him and has not seen him since she was transfered to Beauxbatons, She believes he is currently a prisoner in Draton. She has never confided this to anyone.

She has issues with heartbreak and resentment. Annora still loves her Hogwarts "crush", even though she has not seen him since she was sixteen. She wants to find him despite the fact that he probably doesn't feel anything for her and she couldn't be with him anyway. She resents her husband because she had to marry him, hates Dunst for the regime that forced her into a marriage she didn't want, and resents herself for lacking the courage to even speak up -- much less do anything about the situation
ANYTHING ELSE | Because of her time spent in France, Annora is bilingual.

HISTORY | Annora Bronte Savage is the oldest of the two daughters born to Martin Savage and Susan Bones. Growing up, she was a sweet, happy child, spending her time playing with dolls and having tea parties. She loved her parents, adored her little sister, and loved the family mutt, Fluffers. As with most children, she was ecstatic when she received her acceptance letter for Hogwarts and was very happy to be Sorted into Ravenclaw.

No matter how she began, as the world changed, so did Annora. When she was a third year, Gabriel Dunst was elected Minister of Magic. She did not know the importance of this event at the time, but that was the point where her sweet, caring nature began to be pressed to the back of her psyche. She made few friends at Hogwarts, and had no boyfriends, though she did fall hard for a boy in the year above her.

Her parents worried about her safety when the new Minister began his assault on England. To keep Annora from being caught in the crossfire, they transfered her to Beauxbatons between her fifth and sixth years. There Annora was mostly alone as a stranger in a strange land. She had to learn French, try (and mostly fail) to make new friends, and still keep up with her schoolwork.

Finally she graduated, but the world was already nothing like the one she was born into. As she returned to England and started trying to put together a life for herself with a little flat and a job at Flourish and Blotts, Dunst was completing his takeover. At twenty one, living in a world completely controlled by Gabriel Dunst, she had a marriage arranged to a man she hardly knew and did not love. At twenty two, she was married. She is resentful of her husband to the point that she hates terms of endearment from him, especially the nickname he has given her -- Rosebud. She currently works, rather reluctantly, as the Divination Professor at Dunst's Hogwarts.
