after target in properties (sp?) put -mod C:/Silmarillion

u need to use the -mod command

like this: "C:\Program\Electronic Arts\The Battle for Middle-earth ™ II\lotrbfme2.exe" -mod C:/Silmarillion

Copy and paste your existing shortcut to BFME2, and rename it something suitable (i.e. War of the Silmarils). Then right click on the new shortcut, and in the target box add -mod "C:\Silmarillion" to the end of it.

There is a really poor quality public beta available at MEC. Frankly it doesn't do the mod justice though, so I scrapped everything in it.
