H I A T U S

Vesperarium is currently on hiatus until the Spring. As you all know, the site has been slowing down for the past couple of months, and the Staff has been trying to find ways to spruce up member activity. While some of it has been successful, the Staff has decided to take a little break to regroup and come up with more ideas to make the site more enjoyable for you.

Don't worry though! Vesperarium won't be entirely shut down during the hiatus. We'll be keeping some sections such as the Galleries and Learning forums open for you to use while you wait.

So it's a small good-bye for now, but we hope you'll all join us again in the Spring for our grand re-opening. See you soon!

I would really appreciate it if someone helped me out with my dilemma... I CAN'T MAKE BLENDS!

I really want to improve, the only half good blends I've made are ...

Anyone who thinks that there is a way I can make my blends better, or knows a certain style which I could try out, I would love the help. xxx

Your blends are really good! The blending is clean and the composition is nice. I guess the only thing I would suggest is to work on text and perhaps try a blend with more colors. Black and white is great (I love BW myself!), but color will give you more options coloring-wise. Try looking at the tutorial section to pick up tips for coloring. You might also want to try doing some hardcut blends just to expand your range. The most important thing is just keep practicing though. Practice makes perfect.
