My original picture was pretty light, so I set it to multiply like you said, and used a different notebook texture:


Are you the one who made both the light and notebook textures? I have the notebook one you used because I found it on livejournal from dusty_memories, but I don't recognize the other one.

oh no no, i made none of the textures. credit goes to dusty_memories for both of them.

i made a few very small changes (just my own light texture and a couple extra layers)

Can you do that on PhotoPlus, and if so how, and if not, are there any photoplus totorials?

uhm well i dont actually know what photoplus is. if you tell me what tools you have and dont have, i can try and tell you how.

Thanks for the tutorial. I tried and came up with this. It seems a little off, but I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with it. Not bad for a first effort though...I'm very new at this and I'm still trying to find my way around photoshop.

I wasn't able to find the notebook or light texture anywhere on-line...believe me, I searched forever to find them. So other than missing those, this is what I got.



I thought it turned out pretty good. I thought about going with the changes suggested for a lighter photo but went with this instead.
