I was watching a game on Vassel today and I noticed a player using a targeting technique that worked very well but I am unable to recreate it in my laboratory.

He would click on the active unit and it would be surrounded by a red square. He would click on the targeted unit and it would be surrounded by a red circle.

He then rolls the die. It seemed very smooth.

When I click on my active unit it is surrounded by a black square. Is there a way to change the color of the active unit square that I cannot find?

After you have selected the unit Press either T, Y, G, or R for a different color (teal, yellow, green or red) or press O to turn it off.

Hope this helps

gmarlin thanks for the suggestion.

What you are talking about is the Aura. Yes, it does allow you to put a colored ring around a model and agreeing with your opponent that Red is the targeted model is a handy way to speed up a game.

I did find out about the Red Box around the Activated Model. It shows up as black to me but my friend sees it as Red during a game.
