Okay I saw 'one week pledge' appear on the podthralls forums and thought it was a great idea.

Basically you make a pledge to paint X this week, and next week you get post the pics of what you painted and make a new pledge. The idea is basically to encourage everyone to paint up all their minis.

I'll start...

This week I pledge to paint and base... Magnus the Warlord

Get you pledges in here...

it may not be this week, but i'm gonna finished my Cadian Heavy Bolter squad next (only black highlight & basing to go)

and then anything else, it was gonna be Inquisatiol storm troopers, but i remembered i still have my 8 kasakin left, all just undercoated black (the specials are painted as they were needed for something else), these may well be done first

as for my warmachine, i've either run out of spray or i can't be bothered to paint the khador jacks

Man. Now there is a challenge.

In which case I pledge to finish my Titan, a couple of Khador jacks that need to be done, and maybe a Behemoth.

Of course, I may just not, and find something else to get up to....

Oh, and votes for this to be Sticky? I like the idea.

Definitley a good idea.

Of the many figs I've got in my painting queue. I'll endevour to get Epic Skarre and Tartarus painted and finished this week.

Been on much more of an assembling kick, rather than painting recently...

Better to pledge a couple of things and not bite off more that you can manage.

In general I find I can get through a Jack, Unit or Character each week, which is why I'm reluctant to pledge more than just Magnus right now. That and I can see a lot of working going ito such a great looking model.

This week I pledge to finish the 20 Cadian Drop Troops I've already started.

Though with the weekend off I really want to paint either a unit of Winter Guard or a Magnus box set that I should be getting this week.

Already got my lads assembled and primed, the reason I pledged both is that Im using alot of similar techniques and colours so I reckon I can go mini assembly line on them

actually, i may be able to finish those Cadian Heavy Bolters this weekend, as long as i actually paint the black highlight and start the basing (sand & bestial brown wash) by Saturday night, they will be finished on sunday, there i can make a start on the 8 Kasakin, which i may be able to get done by thursday

I may also make a Command Section for the Kasakin using a spare sgt and spare special weapons

thanks, i think this is a really good idea, as long as other people keep posting

EDIT: actually i've made a start on the kasakin already, only the base camo, but i will get the HB cadians done by sunday

good luck, took me months to finish my LG's, they are horriable to paint

as for me, my cadian HB's are almost finished, just the base, which will be done by tonight, and the squad leaders name

EDIT: they are done, now starting on the kasakin, though they will hopefully be finished next week

My LGs are coming along but I'm way this weekend and then most of next week so chances are I'll not finish them in one week... though total working time will be 7 days... just a bit interupted by work is all.
