UPDATE: 750 points tournament early November

I am running a series of fully painted Hordes and Warmachine events in Glasgow in 2009. The tournaments will start small, at 350 points, rising to 1000 by the end of the year. Each event will be an independent tournament, but scores will be assigned to players who attended each season, with an overall winner declared at the end.

The tournaments will be as follows:

Rising Conflict - Frosts of Winter
350 points
Sunday 15th February 2009

Rising Conflict - Promise of Spring
500 points
Sunday 10th May 2009

Rising Conflict - Radiance of Summer
750 points
Sunday 8 November 2009

Rising Conflict - Shadows of Autumn
1000 points

Points will be assigned according to the number of players in reverse order of placing. For example in a tournament with 12 players the first player will score 12 points, the second 11, etc... and the last player will score 1 point. The total score will be kept in this thread.

Before each event I'm also going to run a painting workshop to help with any painting issues. There will also be painting prizes at each event since painting is a major focus.

My aim is to run these tournaments on Sundays. Other regular tournaments will most likely run on Saturdays. This is to give as many people as possible an opportunity to play over the course of the year.

Unless otherwise noted the tournaments will be at the Queen Margerat Union (QMU), University Gardens, next to Hillhead Underground. Starting time is 10am.

The room booking is still to be confirmed, but I'm happy to start registering interest in the tournament already.

As long as it's Sundays I'm good to go. Are we allowed to switch factions between events?

Switching factions is no problem if you have several painted.
