Title: E Irusk Rules Query

Deckard - June 27, 2008 09:56 AM (GMT)
Just a quick question about E Irusk's ability - I forget what it's called, but it gives every friendly warrior model in his control area Tough along with a few other things..

Does E Irusk get tough too? I'm presuming he does, but wanted to be sure -

Also just for reference, I know that there are other abilities/feats out there that have a similar radius effects, do these as a rule affect the caster?

The reason I ask, is isn't there some kind of odd rule where the Warcaster can't be in it's own command or control range - or something like that..

Thanks in advance..

A model is within its own control area. A model is not within X" of itself (which includes command range) and such abilities must specifically state if the model is affected.

Thanks for the reply - but just to clarify does E Irusk get tough as well as the infantry in his control/command (I think it's his command) range?

No EIrusk does not gain tough because a model is never within its own command range.

His Tough Abilitiy is CMD, and it does not include "Including Irusk" line, so no Tough for him. He does get Martial Discipline though, because it adds him after they say CMD range.

Off Topic a little ....

A question was asked, what happens to a single model moving directly thorugh Xerxis? As at some point he would be completly under Xerxis base and therefore no longer "within his CMD" and therefore not under Martial Discipline anymore  .... still "Checking" I think ;)

I think it'd be safe to assume martial discipline would still affect it! Either that or since two objects can't occupy the same space they'd both die hideously (I prefer this version!)

Well commen sense would say the model is still effected, however I do enjoy it when people find ood loop-holes ... its for fun and not a serious debate on rules.
