Title: Bloat Thralls Versus Satyxis
Description: Damage

Point picked up by my latest convert to WM.
Bloat Thralls have noted on their card that their Damage is Corrosion Damage.
No argument that this is distinct from CONTINUOUS Corrosion Damage, but it does beg the question; if the damage is Corrosion, does this mean the Satyxis are not protected by Force Barrier? - which grants them immunity from BLAST damage.

The raiders are immune to all blast damage even if it has a damage type.
If the blast damage also causes a continuous effect then they will suffer that.

Best example is a vanquisher. 4" AoE fire damage with continuous effect fire. The actual attack will cause no damage to the raiders but any figure under the template will be set on fire.

Any damage caused by a blast (unless specified) is blast damage, it might be fire blast damage, electrical blast damage etc, but it's still blast damage.

Zo, Just as I thought. On PP forum they cited a similar resolution as the Vanquisher, but Bloatie,(as far as I can remember), does not do Continuous.
Rob can take heart, Bile thrall purges are still primo bad news, (for just about everybodyY.
