They did a really nice job with the website! It looks great! Though I couldn't find any pictures of you anywhere. Actually I couldn't find any pictures. Please direct me to them if I'm being completely ignorant.

Isn't world youth day when they carry that big cross around the world.

As you may appreciate jo, not a lot fits ally, and I can't make her wear anything, beleive me I've tried!
And yeah, world youth day is not just about a cross going around the world, its about a massive amount of young people gathering for jesus. Not a lot of others can boast that. in germany there was a record somewhere in the vicinity of 1.2 million people (old and young) gathering for the vigil mass. But I can't wait for the cross to come to us. Newcastle has had it, and we get it for about 5 hours. I cant wait to carry it. This thing has been in so many countrys the cross itself is about 21 years old, and the icon is a fairly new addition. Its coming to wollongong cathedral twice, once around christmas and then about april next year.

April 7, 8 or 9, one of those days.
And december this year, its like 9th of december, don't quote me on those. Cause I know shellharbour gets the cross april fools day next year, which I believe is the anniversary of our parish or school, one of those. Which will make it extra special. If you want to know about it, ask Miss Hore at school or Mr Elliott. I'm sure they can help you. And you can have a chance to carry it! Don't you go to church with your parents? EEEP! We got the cross and icon coming in like 10 days.....I'm both excited and scared, so much to do in those 10 days!!

Its so freaken heavy you can't run with it! You walk with it and take it to sights that have seen suffering and get people who have suffered in their lives to hold it or had a massive contribution to the church or people who need it in their lives. Once you touch it its a life changing experience! Knowing where its been already is amazing!

Yeh i figured it is like a mini olympics.
Its great to see a christian event so huge, its like Hillsong conference but not everyone around the world comes to that. And the good old pope is coming to australia woo how cool.
