In other news I put supernatural season 2 on laybuy!

Finally, I was wondering when there was going to be a new off topic.
I'm gonna write a letter to my Grandmothers and I drew a picture of Homer for one of them. He's thinking, and in the thought bubble his thinking, and in the next thought bubble he's thinking etc.

I am totally freaking out about tomorrow.

I'm going to be practicing a piano duet, having latin, getting fitted *AGAIN* for my new choir outfit, and leading a vote on what we want on our choir t-shirts. They gave me a gigantic size for my choir dress. Honestly... I looked like a fat witch. The sleeves were long and gauzy and the shirt fit really awful and was two sizes too big. That's not what I'm freaking out about though.

I'm freaking because I don't know how to lead a stupid vote! That and I have like 7 suggestions on what to put on the back of the shirt, and they're all good, and I don't want to scratch any off to make the vote easier because I want to be fair. Linny did it last year...I need to call her and ask her how she did it, but Tuesday is her busy day.

I need to just go to bed and sleep on it I think.

You get uniforms? Huh, we get to wear whatever we want (formal though).

YAY! Mr. Haines is said he's going to do solo's! I sure hope I get to do one. And mom said we might get to start taking lessons again! It's been like 8 months since we had a lesson!

It was rather easy actually. Apart from the fraying! Taffeta likes to fray!

And I've said it before but not sure if you read it anna, but I bought 11 metres (roughly 11-12 yards) of that taffeta for $2 a metre! Cause that was before I bought the pattern, I wanted to make sure I had enough cause I know the skirt took up a fair bit!

But I have more than enough to make a regency gown and my pagoda sleeve bodice...so yay!

And if you already had your cage/hoop skirt, I reckon I could ya one for roughly $50-60.

Ermm Nevermind...and I'm guessing shipping from Austrailia to US isn't in that price either. Maybe when I get a good job...

Don't know why I was freaking about the vote. All we did was discuss it. Didn't even need silly little pieces of paper. I was happy about that.

Today's a day off from everything! I can maybe catch up on typing and everything in between.

Typing?! I'm gonna catch up on some chocolate cake!!! OK, OK, and some school.

I just laybuyed some new shoes...I needed them badly! And they have a heel but are comfy...which is all I needed!

I got some material, lining for my pagoda sleeve bodice and white lawn for tanya's chemise or 'shimmy'^_^

I also got some more books, I'm terrible, but they were cheap. I got another copy of 'peter pan in kensington gardens' I love that book.

another book on some soldiers experience in india in the 1750's, one called 'The broad arrow' a convict woman wrongly accused sent to tasmainia and another which I can't remember! But it is downstairs.

I just came back from church and this freakin huge spider ran down my window, I nearly ran into the front verandah! I got out the passenger door and tried to find it, but I couldnt see, so I sprayed the car with water, cause huntsmen's HATE water, but it wouldnt come out. I'll hit the car with some bug spray before I go out again. *shivers* I HATE spiders

I also started and am half way on finishing the pagoda sleeve bodice. It sits high, I don't think I own anything that covers neck to foot!

I worked at a fall festival today with my honor society. It was pretty fun actually. I didn't really get to talk to anyone because I was running a blow up bounce thing. I had to make sure only five kids were on at a time, and that got to be a problem, so I had to lay down the law sometimes, but it was fun. Some kids were talking about what they were going to be for Halloween, and one kid said Batman from Batman Begins (go him! ) and another said he was going to be a blue storm trooper from Star Wars... I've never heard of blue ones before.

I'm kicking myself for not checking out the book sale they had at the festival though. I saw the adults in charge of Eta Sigma with a bag full of books. Now I'm jealous of you Giri! New books would always be welcome.

Wahooo typing is done and now I get paid! It won't pay off all my debts to mom, but if I get some more typing stuff or have to take care of my neighbor's animals I will be debt free soon.

Yay! Almost done my other bodice! Only took me most of the weekend but I didnt work on it from 9am till 9pm...which I should have done and I would have finished it! meh.....here she is, the right sleeve is pinned...will sew that tomorrow...got a meeting tonight.

What do you ladies reckon with that lace collar? I was going to save it for a black version of a victorian gown, but I dont know...I went to hobbysew but it was shut! so I couldnt find any collars. the pattern asks for a smaller collar than that, and I still have to add the flange down the front and back and the 'frill' at the bottom of the bodice. It might clash with the purple and black.

But it does look fun in black and white

well it was hot yesterday, and its meant to get to 33 today its already really hot and its only 6:30 am.....and there is already a bush fire at cordeaux heights.

Man...its gonna be a freaken hot one today.

our meeting sort of failed again last night....some people don't like our priest, I reckon he's great, he has an odd sort of humour, he was an army chaplin many years ago, and no doubt saw some things that would make our stomachs turn so I reckon he has every right to be as he is. But he is a great story teller and very passionate about what he's about. He doesnt suffer fools at all or flighty women, and I'm glad to say i'm not one of them, so I get on like a house on fire with him, and the older parishoners always ask me 'arent you scared of him?'

at least my speech went alright, I only spoke for a minute, i got a little 'distracted' when this lady came up that no on really likes, she's a politician who spends more time on newspaper pages than doing anything, so i drew all over our application form, as one other thing for helping it said 'other' so i wrote - world domination - jon would be proud

Linny comes home for fall break this weekend!!! I'm so excited! Mom's been cleaning her room and finding "treasures".

I had a productive afternoon I suppose. Did the dishes and made banana bread, got the back of our choir's t-shirts done, (I hope) and finished all my school.

I pretty much have to make a 'to-do' list every day or I would lose it and go insane. Tomorrow will probably be better since I got most of the bad things done today.

Got to go fix dinner...making the sauce for barbecue chicken.

Bah, headache coming on and its only 7:30am.... what a way to start the day I spoke to ED was it yesterday or the day before at work.....we rarely see each other, and I didnt even recognise her phone number cause i was after one of the guys at her work...trying to set up an appointment or something.
