please register with a first and last name only. this site is set in the fictional town of carmel, oregon during the fall of 2010. an army base is what it is most known for and also where most of the towns profit transcends down from. while the village used to have three of the largest military bases across the country, only one stands to this day. the marine base was bombed back in the winter of 2004 and completely destroyed. as of recently due to threats of attacks to the air force base, it has been moved to a smaller location. having three military bases so close by was always a problem and although only the army base stands tall today, we will never forget the lives lost in the demolishment of fort javier, and we will keep in our thoughts the families forced to move away to find an air force base where they can resume work.

putting the military aspect aside actually isn't that hard to do in a town based soley around the structure. it's not different than the next small town. it tries to make carmel feel like a place to call home. it's a place to stand tall with family, to appreciate the life you have, and being able to come home from long tours to see your family. your friends. your wife, your kids. military forces put their lives on the lines, but they know what it's like to come home and just fall back into what they left too. carmel is a place to reconcile. to start new. start over. to end things, and build them the way you want them. it's not all about guns and shooting on a military base, you know. there is plenty good to come from it, and maybe you just have to find what it is you want that makes you happy and hold onto it.
