Pokemon Rumble: I had no idea this was even out >_>
Pretty neat. I've cleared up to EX Rumble 2-2. Various musings: -Gyarados with Aqua Tail and Hydro Pump is my best friend. -I caught a shiny Magnezone. -No leveling up was a bad move. "Gee this pokeyman is awesome, great moveset and fun to use - oh wait everything kills him in two hits now guess he's worthless" -Fuck, no 2nd or 3rd gen. Regigigas looks mighty lonely without his bros =(. Knowing GameFreak, though, this means a sequel is coming. |

The Inward Chaos version is level 120. You can, after clearing that, fight him the Blackjack Course of the Duel Colosseum at level 130, if you're some kind of insane masochist since there's really no reward for it. Though, honestly, Chaos is a lot easier after you fight him a lot and get used to his patterns. |

I don't think GameFreak has anything to do with non-main Pokémon games. |

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 - I love this main character. He's like a talking motivational poster. We're in the middle of a big fire fight at the start and he's like, "Remember, we're a team. If we put our heads together, we can do anything!" I never get tired of the stuff he has to say.
Speaking of dialog, the writers seem a bit lazy here. Those of you who played the original R6V probably remember the conversation that pretty much every group of enemies went through. "We got trouble." "What kind?" The killing kind." And then it goes on from there for about two minutes. Well, that exact conversation was used again here. Pretty lame stuff. Eh, at least the other tango conversations are good. "I swear, I musta killed... like... at least a hundred guys, man." "A hundred? Man, I've killed like two hundred... and fifty... six... yeah." I don't like the massive number of guys with Raging Bulls. It's a headshot kill, or two shots to the body on normal, and enemies have deadly accuracy. The only pistol that's nastier is the Desert Eagle. It's even worse with the added ability to shoot through cover. It scares the crap out of me every time a guy starts shooting up from the floor below. I don't know how he can tell where I am, but hey, computers can be as cheap as they want to be. |

L4D2 - Was just playing the Dark Carnival campaign, got up to the part with the carousel event and there happened to be a Witch there. As I tried to sneak past, a Tank appeared and for some reason so did a horde (All this before I pressed the button). And this was on normal difficulty.
Is this sort of thing common? EDIT: Tried my hand at verus mode. I really suck at that too. This post has been edited by Worm on Nov 28 2009; 23:52:02 |

pokemon rumble: this is a fun game. I'm glad I didn't notice the demo until after I'd bought the full game, the demo probably would've turned me away from it; it starts out pretty slow. the way they make the chibi pokemon somehow turned zubat into one of the biggest pokemon in the whole fucking game, which is awesome.
EDIT: my biggest gripe with the game by far is that wooper is not in it. This post has been edited by layze on Nov 28 2009; 22:23:11 |

(Posted Image) apparently I just got the magnet beam. however, the more observant among you may notice that those guts blocks are still there, and I have neither super arm nor thunder beam, so I am stuck in there with no way to get out any no idea how I got in. anyone wanna tell me how the FUCK I did this? |

L4D2 - Forgot to bring this up earlier, but explosive rounds in the censored version really suck. You shoot and the zombies vanish before your eyes.
Also they don't catch fire. They die from static fire and incendiary rounds, but the zombies don't get fire on them. |

Divine Punishment is ridiculously easy to dodge after some practice. It's Scarlet Rain and Condemn that can screw you over. <_<

pokemon rumble: ugh, the chibi style makes it impossible to tell the difference between some pokemon, particularly shit like ponyta and rapidash or kadabra and alakazam. it's basically "if this ponyta is harder to kill than other ponytas, it's actually a rapidash!" also, I conclude that shroob has continued to be an absolute lucky BASTARD with this game, because I'm up to advanced B rank and have yet to even so much as see a single shiny, except for the shiny rattata I got from a password.

...well then
Maybe you'll get a shiny in the Advance mode. <.< Besides, my shinies are pretty much useless now, what with the whole "no leveling up" thing. :/ EDIT: Also, yeah, the chibi thing makes it hard to discern certain pokemon. I thought I was battling yet another Nidoqueen when I got my shiny Nidoking. <.< This post has been edited by PrinceShroob on Nov 29 2009; 17:34:16 |

Phantasy Star III - Just ordered this off of Amazon. It should arrive in time for me to take it home with me for break. Woot.
I'll be sure to do writeups and such for it. It's kind of a bad game, but it's a lost piece of my childhood at the same time. I'll explain when it gets here and I can start playing. This post has been edited by Giygas on Nov 29 2009; 19:33:01 |

The problem is when he uses it while you're in the middle of an attack. It'll always hit you in that case. |

pokemon rumble: so I have this mew. and basically it tears the shit out of everything. it slices crowds(and bosses)to pieces with dragon claw, and it has brine to nuke anything that I don't feel like getting too close to. basically it's awesome.

Demon's Souls - Beat the FLAMELURKER....with a little help from two Blue Phantoms. Except one died during the fight, so I still was able to get a big chunk of souls. I actually feel kind of bad for the guy, because he got killed RIGHT as I made the killing blow with a Soul Arrow. No EXP for him. <_______<
....yeah. I need to start doing better at this game on my own. I'm getting kind of tired relying on Blue Phantoms and Soul Arrow spam. ">_> it's a fun game though This post has been edited by HerodelTiempo on Nov 30 2009; 00:16:24 |
