So now we start nominations!

-Each artist are only allowed 5 songs in the final bracket (So you can nominate 10 Queen songs...just expect only 5 of those Queen songs to actually be in the bracket). Duets between two artists (Like "Under Pressure" from Queen/David Bowie) don't count.
-5 songs from an anime are allowed in the bracket (So...the bracket could have 5 songs from TTGL and 5 songs from Pokémon, that's okay.). You're allowed as many anime as you want, but don't expect a lot of them to make it in.
-You can also include songs from plays and movies and what not. So yes, Internet Is For Porn is allowed.
-This isn't enforced, but try to have some variety, this is just for the sake of the contest.
-YOU CAN NOMINATE UP TO 50 SONGS. However, you can also second 10 songs, so you have to choose which songs you want to second. Songs that get the most nominations/seconds get higher seeds/better placements in the bracket and such forth...yeah.
-Video game/other types of media remixes of real life music are acceptable. So that EBA cover of Jumpin' Jack Flash? Works for me. I don't see why it shouldn't work...so yes, you can nominate things like that.
-Foreign music is allowed, of course.
-Parodies and covers are allowed.
-INCLUDE THE LINKS FOR EACH MUSIC, PLEASE

GOGOGOGO

I will nominate later, when I have time. >____>

also, pika, please make a board for this

nevermind, I'm a blind idiot. <__________<; Uh...yeah, this is awkward...>__________>

At least in this one I can make informed decisions!!

Also, if we nominate remixes, who would be the artist, the original composer or the remixer?

I have 160 nominations so far, sooo... I just may need to trim that down a smidge. Depending on how co-operative YouTube will be, as well.

oh look, BZ made a sarcastic remark towards whispy

his incredibly substantial post is absolutely correct, why the fuck do you have 160? nobody's even gonna read through/remember the entire list.

Team Nekokan - Airman Won't Die

INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC

Since some of these are soundtrack songs, there might not be any artist information. Sorry.

Johann Pachelbel - Canon in D Major (While this is from the Evangelion soundtracks, this shouldn't be considered a song from the series - it's just that this is my favourite version.)

Sagisu Shiro - Heisoku no Kakudai (End of Evangelion)
Sagisu Shiro - Thanatos (Evangelion)

Johann Sebastian Bach - Air
Johann Sebastian Bach - Cello Suite No.1 Prelude
Johann Sebastian Bach - Toccata and Fugue in D Minor

Ludwig van Beethoven - Symphony No.5 (part 2) (about 25 minutes)
Ludwig van Beethoven - Sonata No.14 Moonlight

Vivaldi - Four Seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) (Sorry, not the best quality, but I'm really lazy right now. I might look for higher quality ones later. 40+ minutes.)

The Seatbelts - Tank! (Cowboy Bebop) (Yes there's a guy talking at the beginning. The song itself is still instrumental. Also we're out of the classical now, in case you didn't notice)

Iwasaki Taku - Ten wo Tsuke (Gurren Lagann)

Hirano Yoshihisa/Taniuch Hideki - L's Theme (Death Note)
Hirano Yoshihisa/Taniuchi Hideki - L's Theme B (Death Note)

...whew. That's it... for now.

EDIT: THERE IT'S DOWN TO 50 ARE YOU HAPPY

I just have three nominations, all from the same artist: Jason Mraz

Geek in the Pink
Make It Mine
I'm Yours

So, yeah. That's it. Feel like I don't listen to music at all compared to everyone else. <_<

My Chemical Romance - Helena http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPhuihJ78uU

Rise Against - Collapse (Post-Amerika) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-_ze1rluDI

A Day to Remember - My Life for Hire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pn8rK8fMjNc (not great quality)

Paramore - Ignorance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqJEGIaQwP8 (again not great quality)

That's it for right now. Four of my favorite songs. I don't plan on nominating a lot because only Squee likes the kind of music I like. >_>

Do you know how hard it is to prune that down to fifty? The reason there were so many damn songs is because I like them so much. It feels weird deciding who lives and who dies.
