Yeah I picked it up at the airport just before I left the country, I've read about half of it, it is really good, but alas since coming back to uni I've had no time to read

better than nothing Mrs ET, when you get time i'm sure you'll enlighten us with your wisdom on such topics - you could tell us of books that you've read and really enjoyed (or hated) [or even bad parenting mags etc, so that we are wiser when it is our turn]

I'm reading The LOTR trilogy, still on the fellowship at the moment though and already there are so many differances between the book and the movie that could be classed as important.

I usually read books by Chris Ryanand Andy Mcnab, though I've read them all, apart from "The one that got away" by Chris Ryan, which I havn't got yet.

I'm reading "Why End Times Rules So Much" by End Times.

It's a thrilling tale of a dastardly fellow, with boyish good looks, charm of immense proportions, and skill in the Kama Sutra like no living soul could comprehend. It rules. laugh.gif

Broken the Lord of the rings posts off into a new topic to keep us on topic in this one (plus there's some pretty good discussion going on that warrants its own thread)

I want to get back into the Wheel of time series, like I said I'm currenty upto book 5: The Shadow rising, but I'm thinking of re-reading the books from the beginning, because its been so long since I started (over 4 years ago), and I can't really remember some of the storylines that warrant attention.

I've read the Wheel of Time series but it was many years ago....... can't recall all the details....... actually, can't recall much at all.......

That's the one where the main character in the earlier books is a hunter who has a sort of empathic bond to his pack of hunting dogs right? And then he's got some friend who doesn't have the bond who's job is to stop him from going completely wild when on the hunt right?

That's about all I can remember......... Oh, and later on he has a twin set of tattoos........ Not sure why....... Can't remember........ blink.gif

Stop recounting parts of the story I haven't read yet tongue.gif

But yes thats the one, its actually about 3 boys all from the same village who set out on a journey, but the longer the story goes on and they grow older the further they grow apart.
