Calendar Welcome Importances

Current Season: Summer
Breeding: Yes
Birthing: Yes
Weather: Summer is here, and it is glorious. On most days there is hardly a cloud to be seen in the blue skies. The rivers, lakes and streams have taken a beating from the intense temperatures, and have shrunken considerably. While it can be uncomfortably hot, Summer showers do happen every so often, giving relief to the heat-weary wolves. Until the heatwave breaks, however, they will have to stick it out.

January, February, September
Winter is in:

These are the vast lands of Soul of the Wild.

Just to give you a referance when roleplaying a such.

Many thanks to Emily for making this beautiful map for us!

Glas Falls (Joy Falls)

A truly beautiful area, this is where water crashes down over a cliff into a calm pool surrounded by lush vegetation. In the pool, trout can be found for the hungry wolf, and the shade from the trees and undergrowth offers a cool place to relax in summer, but is quite cold in winter as the water freezes.

Poika Lake (Pure Lake) and Clearing

A sparkling lake forms from the river that comes from Glas Falls. There are sometimes waterfowl near here, though not in winter. The clearing is the desired meeting place of the pack, due to its open structure and the wonderful scent of the winds that travel across the lake and through the flowers that are scattered across the land.

Niccy found these buried and decided she liked them. Anyone who wants to make the rest can feel free to just know that they may or may not be accepted.
Thanks to Namir

Upon the turn to winter's grasp,
The shadow lord the lands did pass.
And through the bitter depths of spring,
Did he look on buds the plants did bring.
Oh buds of spring, oh fresh, oh new!
The wolf did howl to morning dew.
You torment me with thoughts of home,
Of elder lands I once did roam!
My love, her coat so dark as coal,
Her gentle words would soothe my soul.
So homeward bound I start again,
Through deathly winds and howling rain.

And so he came upon the field of gold,
His home, his hearth, his lands of old.
