Appearance:
Artemis has a coat that is said to be as pale and bright as the moon. Because of this, she blends well with the snow in winter time. In turn, during the summer, she is quite noticeable. Her eyes are a soft gray, almost silver looking.
Artemis has a slim built body structure, making her fast and agile. Her naturally lean body is hardly noticeable in the winter when her coat is at it's thickest. Artemis' agile body makes it easy for her to dodge aggressive attacks by other wolves. She will use her speed and agility to attack without dealing damage. Another words, she attacks only to defend.
When she howls, the sound is truly beautiful. She howls often when the moon is full, which can be heard for miles upon miles. Her voice, whether it be a whimper or not, is almost melodic.

Personality:
Artemis is described as serene, tranquil, and peaceful. She is gifted with grace, and carries herself that way, but is not self centered in the least.
She does not like to fight, and will not engage in a fight unless she feels ether that her life, or the life of a pack member is in danger. If she had her wish, wolves would not fight.
The sight of the rising sun saddens Artemis. It reminds her of her only brother, Apollo, who was killed by their pack leader when it was apparent he was a threat to the Alpha male's position.
Artemis seems almost mysterious, which other wolves may misread as threatening. Once she knows you, she is loyal, trusting, and will show true leadership in times of hardship.

History:
Artemis and her brother Apollo, were brought into this world by their mother Leto. The father of these two pups was unknown, and most of the raising was left up to her. The small group of five wolves was managed by their Alpha male named Avalanche, and Alpha female called Tundra. Avalanche was a malicious leader, and treated Artemis and her brother harshly because they were not his pups. He treated Leto even harsher, and often attacked her for no reason. Despite that, Leto raised her pups with love and devotion. None of the other members were allowed to aid in the raising of her pups, which made looking after them, and finding time to take care of her needs very difficult. Leto became very weak. Eventually, the pups grew old enough to become regular members of the pack. Unlike Artemis, Apollo became large and strong, yet not as fast as she. Often, Apollo would attempt to race his sister across their pack's land, ending in his defeat almost every time. In turn, Artemis could not defeat Apollo when it came to sparring. Noticing this, Avalanche became aggressive with Apollo, attacking him regularly, and reminding him who the Alpha was. In her attempt to stop these acts, Leto was killed by Avalanche. Eventually, Apollo was killed anyway. Artemis, however, was able to escape, and became a rouge, searching for a new family.
Venturing across the vast landscape, Artemis desperately searched for a new pack to join. When she was finally able to find one, humbly asked to join their pack. Instead of welcoming her, they attacked her. Artemis learned quickly that the world in which she lived was a harsh and brutal one. She continues her search for a family and a peaceful existence.
