Hi,
I live in the United States. I was born in WV but live now in NC. I was born in 1943 during the Second World War. I have been trying to document our family lineage for my children and nieces and nephews. My ancestor was a son (apparently a twin) of Howson Kenner Bon(h)am Seaton from VA. His mother was Sarah Kenner Pritchard. Howson died in KY in 1803 and my ancestor was apparently born subsequent to his death. The name of my ancestor was William Hervey (Sometimes listed as Harvey) Seaton. The name has been carried down through the generations to my brother, who is the fifth in our line. I have no documentation of the first William Hervey for any life event. If someone can help me with this problem, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks so much Pete, for this site. Ann |

Pete,
Stumbled on one of your family tree links about 2 weeks ago. I have at least 3 generations (probably more) of Seaton ancestors that were born lived or died in Blair Atholl. So I have just become hooked on checking out my ancestors. Lots of Duncans in my line. Father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great great great uncle to name but a few. I will have to check the birth dates to see if any are common with your line. So far I am back to John Seaton (born 1802) and his father Robert probably born around 1770. The www.Scotlandspeople.gov.uk website made it pretty easy to get back 6 generations. I now live in Houston Texas, originally from Aberdeen Scotland. cheers, Paul Seaton |
