Taste of Chaos '08, !

It was actually back in April, but my friend, her mom and little brother and myself (we normally don't do the family concert thing, since I'm 20, we normally fly solo) went to the Taste of Chaos here in New York.

We saw:

Idiot Pilot
Blessthfall
Atreyu
Avenged Sevenfold


Blessthefall was the whole reason we went though, and despite JUST losing their singer, they still sounded amazing. The backup singer took over for the frontman and he happens to sound a lot like the old singer, so it worked out good.


Avenged Sevenfold was better than we expected them to be, and got the biggest crowd response I've EVER seen, and I've seen so many concerts. The only other times I've seen a crowd respond that much to a band is when My Chemical Romance headlined Bamboozle in 2007, and when thrice played at the same Bamboozle.


We were pretty sure Avenged Sevenfold was going to be pretty bad, after M.Shadows had that throat incident, and the new stuff wasn't that promising but they put on a really good show, and played some old favorites which really pleased me!


All in all, a really really good show!

Yeah, one of the best line-up's I've even had the pleasure of hearing.
