Madagascar The only place untouched by the virus, so now the main hub of human activity. There are people here who were born in the middle of the apocalypse and have never left the island, instead content to watch tv and live a life that is rotting in its own human way. It's fiercly controlled by a make shift government and military but below the surface of order a massive black market for obsolete old world leisure items, drugs, medicine and of course, company. Everything can be found here, but none of it is what anyone needs.

Businesses District The business district of The City is as crowded as it is presentable. With such a drastic change in consumer volume in the past half-decade the way of doing business has changed, and this along with the greasing of the wheels in terms of the government has made it common practice for each company to hold a monopoly over their specialty. Trying to muscle in on any of the established businesses here is going to cost you - blood or wealth, and most likely both.

The City Central Looking for a school, library, hospital or fire station? Well, authorized zombie and human alike, you've come to the right place. All government-run services can be found packaged conveniently, more or less at the center of the city (if we're forgetting downtown exists, which the law-makers usually do.) Keep your eyes peeled and you'll probably spot you're chosen house of worship as well.

The City Housing Though a proper house is difficult to find and too costly to own for all excepting the filthy rich, apartments of all sizes can be located here. Usually clean and industrious, they all come with the same basic cream exterior, and unless you're planning on rooming with the roaches downtown, it's one of your only options.

The Red-Light District Other than an unannounced sweep concocted purely out of boredom every once in a blue moon, the The Human League United Ruling Democratic Coalition Council tends to neglect Downtown - and it shows. With a plethora of items - and sometimes people, dead or undead - going for sale at any moment on the black market, drugs, weapons and carnal satisfaction riddled with who knows what there to temp the young and experienced passersby alike, it's not exactly the type of place where you want to raise a family.

South America The second continent to be hit by the virus, this place is less populated by zombies than North America because of its warm, humid climate. Once again, major cities are left alone but this time not for the threat of zombies but the stench of rotting flesh and the heartbreaking remains of the Old World.

Europe In the first few months of the outbreak, most of Europe closed their boarders to anything American, clinging desperately to their cultured, civilized way of life. It wasn't long though that the virus reached England, France and Scandinavia and quickly spread, deccimating cities and quickly destroying any hope people had of maintaining a normal existence.

Asia Different parts of Asia weathered the outbreak differently. Heavily populated cities in China were soon wiped out, while in Japan feudal states echoing the ones from half a millenia ago are keeping relative order. Vietnam, Cambodia and Malasia all have low zombie populations due to the heat, though the survivors are living in unsanitary conditions.

Africa This, the cradle of humanity, has almost completely reverted to pre-colonization patterns of living. The continent is no longer divided by obsolete lines on a map and people have returned to living in nomadic tribes, becoming hunter gatherers and traders for the people of The City. Skin colour here has no meaning as white and black people alike adapt to the harsh conditions of the continent.

Australasia Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea and neighboring Pacific Islands try to cope with the virus in different ways. Australia, whose population have always had most of their cities near the coast, though only Sydney and Darwin are functioning cities, though they're only 2% of what they once were. New Zealand has two separate governments at war with each other as often as they're at war with the zombies. Sydney has one of the few remaining working planes, used to transport people and resources to The City.

The Middle East Once again, those humans who have survived have returned to a nomadic lifestyle, rediscovering the joys of unbareable heat, little water and having camels spit in your face. Jerusalem has once again become a mecca for pilgrims who still believe there is a God and the artificial islands of Dubai are now safe havens for those rich enough to be in denial. Wars that plagued this area are now forgotten, though disputes against Shiites and Sunis, Isrealis and Palestinians still occur, but as the line between ethnicity blurs and the zombies take over more and more, these differences are forgotten in favour of harnessing the vast amount of oil that is now the most valuable commodity in the world apart from water and sanity.

The USA Commonly referred to as Pest Central by particularly bitter humans, this is where the virus originated and therefore has the highest concentration of zombies. Major cities like New York, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles are strictly avoided by all but the suicidal. Here humans have either fled to the mountains, the small towns or have backed themselves up against the coast.

Siberia It's the cold climate that has the zombies migrating towards Siberia. In a land covered in snow for most of the year, the rotting flesh 'keeps better'. Most of the humans have fled or been killed because there is nothing here to keep them safe. Carni's use the icey wastelands as one of their strongholds and the zombie masses reach down into the north of China, Mongolia, into Serbia and Poland and the other Eastern European countries that has become, once again, an Eastern Block. Humans living in small groups in Europe all know that when winter rolls around, GET THE FUCKING STAKES OUT.

Death Valley The main stronghold of the zombies in the United States, also because of its frigid night temperatures and perhaps, just perhaps, a sense of irony on the zombies' part. For the brave and stupid, finding a place at the edge of the Valley and taking pot shots at the lumbering undead is a pasttime for the bored and frustrated humans...just make sure you've got a quick exit strategy handy, or one bullet for your own brain.

Alaska Alaska. Has Sarah Palin become a zombie? Odds are yes, because as we all knw, zombies have no taste and are indiscriminatory when it comes to juicy juicy brains. Humans, just stay out. Really.
In fact, it's a good thing that zombies, even half inteligent Carni's, aren't capable of mass organisation because if they actually formed a system of government, the next step would be a much more lethal human extermination. As it is, random raiding parties slope out of Alaska every so often, wreaking havoc but in the end not enough to completley decimate the humans. But really, all the zombies need is patience.
